Rios Barbacoa — Restaurant in Kirby

I absolutely love this place the ALL MEAT BARBACOA is the best remember to order it because they have 2 kinds the Rios Family will ask you which one you want but the menu is on the wall so if you order the all meat that is what you will get I have been there and some customers order the one with the fat because some enjoy the flavor. Some customers have also ordered both half and half to mix it up. I have not been disappointed ever the times I have visited. The Family is very nice and friendly I admire that they have family time together and they make it possible for me to enjoy some very tasty Barbacoa and big red it's always nice to get to eat something that I don't have to make myself and would not know how This Family reminds me when I was a kid when more cooking was done at home and the quality of family time was well spent and kept the family close and enjoyed each other and didn't have a cell phone taking up Quantitee time from each other. Couldn’t give it a 0 star and that’s What they deserve. Ordered through favor special 2 it’s supposed to be 1 dozen tamales and all meat barbocoa. I also txt driver for onions and Cilantro There is no tamales and no onions and cilantro. Also ordered extra flour tortillas as it comes with corn and didn’t Get those either. This barbocoa is definitely not all meat either. You can literally pour grease out of it. Paid 25.00 for My order and it’s was not worth it now they are closed So can’t call them either. First time trying their Barbacoa, it is good but lacks taste, I'm used to a more flavorful barbacoa, still, like I said it's not bad. I will be back to try the rest of their menu, they have menudo, tamales, chicharones, tortillas. The reason I gave only 3 stars is mostly because of the price, in my opinion is very overpriced, including tax you'll be spending 18 dlls a lb, we are a family of 4 so I had to get 2 lb, it was close to $40!!! that's too much, I've had better and not this expensive barbacoa at HEB 😆 The place only opens Saturday and Sunday...
