Very disappointed with the treatment I received today. I got to this Dairy Queen fairly often, almost always I receive quick and kind service. Within the past month and today especially I have received less and less kindness and my orders have been messed up often. Once this month I ordered a chicken strip basket with a medium blizzard, the meal was handed to me, and I was told to have a nice day, I still had not yet received my blizzard. When i said something the young lady working the window said very snarky “yeah we’re working on it” don’t know why she would’ve said have a nice day if she knew I hadn’t received everything I had ordered, but I let it slid sometimes we have bad days, when my blizzard was finally finished she handed it to me then closed the window. Mind you I received a small blizzard when I had ordered and paid for a medium. Once again I let it slid not a big deal to me really, and I didn’t want to be a pain. Another time this month I ordered a shrimp basket and a peanut buster parfait I waited almost 25 min to receive my meal, I understood the shrimp is made to order I didn’t mind waiting however once I was handed my meal I had to wait another 7min to receive my ice cream. I once again let it slid. Today however I can no longer do so. Today I went to the drive thru, to order some lunch while on my hour break from work. I waited in the drive thru for 30 min, I was waiting at the speaker for someone to take my order. When I pulled up the person on the speaker said they had a bus pull up on the strip so they had a lot of kids in the restaurant and that it would be about five minuets before they could get back to me and take my order. I waited five minuets and nothing, so I decided I would wait a little longer cause they could just be really busy. So I waited and waited and still nothing so at a half hour wait I had wasted half of my break so I decided to leave. Read moreFirst of all, I want to say that the food was good, but I went inside of this place last weekend and it was absolutely disgusting. It looked like it had not been cleaned in days. There was food and trash all over the floor and tables, and there was a huge puddle of clear liquid by the soda machine. It essentially looked like a five-year-old had just had a birthday party in there with all of his classmates. This is very disappointing, especially during a time when cleanliness can literally save lives. It is important to note that I never saw the kitchen or the bathrooms, so I cannot comment on their cleanliness. However, I still shudder to think that I actually ate food that came out of such a dirty building. This was my first time going inside of this building. Before, I had always gone through the drive-thru.
I'd also like to point out why this probably happened: the restaurant probably does not have nearly the amount of customers coming inside as it used to. Instead, everyone is using the drive-thru. That means that the employees are probably very busy with the drive-thru and are probably under a lot of pressure to get orders out in an unreasonably short amount of time. These employees can't be everywhere at once. So, something had to be sacrificed, and it makes sense that the employees would chose to abandon the cleaning duties of the dining area, as not a lot of customers are using it. So, to clarify, I don't believe the employees are at fault for this. They need more help. They are doing what they can with the resources they have.

Read moreMy boyfriend and I placed an order online and when we got there, we had to wait for 15 minutes. They weren't busy, as we were the only ones inside and there were only 2 vehicles in the drive through. The food was sitting on the warmer while we were waiting to be served, and when we got it, the ranch in our chicken strip basket was spilled all over our fries and toast. The lids were deformed and didn't even fit, which they would have known putting them on and just ignored. On top of that, my blizzard was already melting and dripped onto the floor as he held it upside down. Our fries were cold and soggy and the chicken was hard and dry. The toast in the chicken strip basket had ranch all over it and was therefor soggy. The strawberries in our sundae were frozen solid, as well as the strawberries in my blizzard. There wasn't a single napkin in the bag. On the plus side, my onion rings were good, as well as the pretzels, however they were only lukewarm.
