I visited this location with a co-worker of mine. We ordered at the same time - she got a vanilla latte and I ordered a "sugarfree vanilla frappuccino". My co-worker got her drink almost instantly, but mine didn't come for more than 10 minutes, in which time 3 people that ordered after me got their drinks. I walk up to the counter and reminded them of my order. Shortly after that they gave me a "vanilla bean creme" frappuccino - no coffee basically. I told them that it was not what I wanted, which was a coffee drink, thinking maybe I hadn't been clear when ordering. I waited another five to ten minutes only to receive the same exact drink as before. I asked the person behind the counter how exactly I was supposed to order the drink I want, after explicitly stating before that I wanted a coffee drink with vanilla flavor and still getting a drink sans coffee. She offered to make it a third time, but I had to leave since the whole experience had taken way more time than it should. The worker I was speaking with did comp me with a free drink voucher, but my co-worker informed me, that when I turned around, she made a snarky face at me. Not very professional - but with the way I couldn't even get a drink that I had been ordering for YEARS, I am not surprised that she reacted in that way. I recently visited the Starbucks on Kirkwood Rd in downtown Kirkwood, Missouri, and I was thoroughly impressed. The manager, Alyssa, is exceptionally professional and present, leading her team with grace and efficiency. Even during the morning rush hours, the staff, including new faces, work in perfect unison, creating a seamless and pleasant experience for customers.
The entire ambience is welcoming and pleasant, making it a great spot to start the day. Alyssa's high level of detail, customer care, and methodical approach to accuracy and efficient delivery is truly commendable. It's clear she takes her job seriously and leads by example, often supporting her team with positive energy and subtle enthusiasm.
It's inspiring to see a manager who not only excels in her role but also uplifts her team and ensures a top-notch experience for every customer. Kudos to Alyssa and her fantastic team for their hard work...
Read moreMy second time at this locations since I was on my way to work and didn’t have time to stop by my usual location. Both times they messed up my order. The first time I called and asked them about refunding or getting my order remade to which the person over the phone asked me “what do you want us to do about it?” Even after that atrocious customer service interaction, I went back today.
Again, they messed up my order, but I was in the store instead of using the app so I asked them to remake it, and while the girl was friendly enough, she only filled my cup (grande) about 2/3 of the way.
