Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Kissimmee

Well, after reading the managers reply to my review there is a real possibility that the young woman who waited on me was poorly trained and misrepresented Bruster’s policy. She made it clear that for the price of $7.79 I would receive nothing but a plain vanilla Blast, with no flavors or additives at all. She was correct as that is exactly what my money provided. The vanilla soft serve was decent but somewhat bland with no add-on. . She made it clear to me that anything additional would cost an extra $1.09, or higher. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding. She seemed like a nice kid. Thank you offering a replacement Blast. I may stop by in the near future and take you up on that offer. Beware of false advertising! I went to the Kissimmee Bruster’s this evening. I was interested in ordering the regular size ‘Blast’. The listed price was $7.79. What they do not tell the customer is that for $7.79 you only receive a 22 oz cup of vanilla soft serve ice cream. Nothing else. The Blast ‘mix-in’s’ all cost an extra $1.09, or higher. The website menu clearly shows a Blast with M & M pieces mixed in, with no indication that you pay additional for the M & M’s. It’s only once you place your order and are ready to pay that you find out that ANY additions to the vanilla ice cream cost more. I’d imagine Bruster’s figures that most customers won’t question or care about the additional fees. They are mistaken. Customers are better off purchasing a Blizzard from Dairy Queen or a Concrete from Culver’s, as both cost less than a Blast and INCLUDE whatever flavors and sauces one desires. The Ice Cream business is a competitive one. Not all consumers are as stupid/uncaring as Bruster’s would like to think. More direct, honest advertising and promotional is something this outfit...

My family and I love Bruster’s ice cream! 🍨 My favorite is the Southern Banana Pudding with hot fudge. It has nilla wafers in it and its sooooo good! 😊 Sophia helped us tonight she’s super friendly and very sweet. This was at the Kissimmee location and you don’t usually get good customer service in that area so it was a pleasant surprise! She was patient with my family’s indecisiveness she even offered us samples! 🍦 I love all the different flavors and how you can mix and match! What a fun spot so close to home! Stopped for ice cream and so glad that we did! We’re only in the area for about 6 weeks and decided to give Bruster’s a try. We had our 3 labs with us! I had a plain vanilla cone because that’s sort of my determining factor for good ice cream!! If you can do plain vanilla good, then probably everything else will be good!! And Brusters does plain vanilla very well!! My husband had butter pecan and it was packed with salted pecans so had that salty sweet taste!! Needless to say that our pups LOVED their ice cream topped with a cookie bone treat!! And they ate free!!...
