We heard about this restaurant and it having quality food however, my son and I went in to use the restroom and a blonde hair women also calling herself the owner banged on the door while I was using the bathroom and asked if I was going to purchase anything. When I told her we needed to run and use the restroom and then purchase she told me that he has bills to pay and I should’ve asked to use the restroom first! Then proceeded to ask my son what was he doing in there and he said he needed use the restroom she told him to leave. When I addressed the issue with how she handled the situation she became belligerent and sarcastic. I asked her what her name is and she wouldn’t give it to me and I verified she is the owner and denied that she was. Very unprofessional and rude and argued that she is business owner and has bills to pay. I was then asked to step outside in the rain and threatened to have the police called on me if didn’t because I told her what she does was wrong. Extremely unprofessional and will NEVER come back. By the way I DID buy 2 tacos from them as I was intending to buy platter with multiple tacos because as I prefaced I heard they had really quality food and they were clean. Never will I step foot in that establishment and would warn anyone who would even consider purchasing from them as I was treated with disrespect and disregard. Very unfortunate situation and at a time when we need to...
Read moreI love tacos. I even like "middle school cafeteria" tacos in a pinch. But the tacos served here are some of the best I've had. I was offered the special, which tonight was tacos de cabra and a bowl of soupa de cabra. Sweet Baby Jesus, I have hit the Mother Lode . . . I also ordered a few lengua tacos for good measure as well . . . All the tacos were 2 home made corn tortillas stuffed with well seasoned and prepared meat ( goat & beef tongue), plenty of chopped cilantro and the right amount of chopped onion. The soup was made from the stock of the braised goat with rice and seasoned to perfection. The flavor was deep and complex. It was so, so good. The glass of cold horchata (loaded w/ cinnamon!) was the perfect drink to wash it all down. There was a mild salsa and salsa Verde served as well. Both homemade, but the Verde was the clear choice for me. Gabriel, the owner was extremely helpful and just a great guy to talk to. If I lived in Kissimee I would be here at least once a week. I was there a little late and was the only gringo there . . . I could have been in East LA. If you want to enjoy some solid, down home Mexican chow, this...
