This place is HORRIBLE! NEVER EVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!
My husband and I bought a 2004 Mercedes Benz from them last March (2013). When we test drove the car we noticed that it seem to have a rough idle. The salesman said that he would make sure EVERYTHING was fixed and that the car would be running perfectly before we purchased it. After making a list of the things that needed to be fixed, we left. We went back to the car lot several days later for another test drive and just as the salesman said the car ran great.....Their mechanic said he had replaced the spark plug wires, plugs and replaced a coil. We signed all the paperwork and with that paperwork we received a "bumper to bumper" warranty stating that World Car Center will repair the car at 70% our cost, for parts and labor for TWO YEARS.
Fast forward to just this past week, we are driving the car and it starts âmisfiring". We take up to the car lot and we are told they will not be able to look at the car until later this week; they say we must make an appointment to even have them look at the car. We make an appointment for the following Monday @9am.
Needless to say, the car starts to run worse. We decide to take it to another mechanic who looks at immediately and tells us the wires need replacing. Monday morning, we drop the car off for our 9am appt. We tell the mechanic that we were told that the wires need replacing. Since he replaced the wires just about a year ago, the wires should still be under warranty. We are told "we will call you with a price". Monday goes by, no call; Tuesday goes by, NO CALL. Finally, Wednesday, I show up after countless un-returned phone calls that I made to them. The mechanic hands my key to the sales assistant and speaks to her in Spanish; he refuses to even acknowledge me. She translates to me that he says that I must take the car to Mercedes Benz dealership and have them âscanâ the car because he doesnât have the diagnostic tools to do so. I told why should have to take my car to the dealership to have them scan the car when all it needs is the spark plug wires replaced? The mechanic then gets irate with me and tells the sales assistant âI am not working on it; tell her to go to Mercedesâ, he proceeds to stomp off.
I leave the dealership and take it back to the mechanic who told us that the car needed the wires replacing. He even shows me two burnt out wires. When I inquire as to how wires can go bad in just little over a yearâs time, the mechanic responds â To be honest with you maâam, I donât think he ever changed out these wires, these wires are pretty oldâ. Are you kidding me? Well there is the reason why the car lot didnât want to replace them; they never replaced them in the beginning. They definitely scammed us.
Anyways, we pay the new mechanic to change out the plugs and plug wires and guess what THE CAR RUNS GREAT!
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THESE...
Read moreI first called to inquire about a Jeep Wrangler I saw online that has been there for months (I soon found out why). A reception lady answers the phone, she couldnât find a free sales person to tell me if the vehicle was still available so she took down my info for a call back. Hours pass and no call so I grab my three kids and head down to the dealer to take a look for myself only to find two available sales persons. I was shown the Jeep that was sitting over by detail because the soft top had a âleakâ. I also noticed the rear hatch was bent, another way for water to get in, rust was building on floor boards that had no carpet and it needed tires desperately, not to mention it was never put through detail when they received the Jeep that theyâve had since February. âWe will fix all thatâ says the salesperson. Despite all those issues, l gave them the benefit of the doubt and drove the Jeep.
I came in Capital One Pre Approved, payment and interest rate already given for that specific vehicle from Capital One. I told them, this total amount financed is what Capital one will do for this specific car. All they had to tell me is if they accept the sale price and trade in value I gave them, fix Jeep issue or discount the car to reflect what was needed and I drove out the same day with the jeep.
The sales person and some cocky finance guy finally got me to write down my social security cards on the app so they can âaccess my Capital One applicationâ promising me my credit would not be ran. Well, guess what? I got hit with inquiries, and they come at me asking for money down. Being a veteran in the car business I shouldâve known better, lies is what the business is all about which is why l donât sell cars anymore. I wasted two hours with my three kids hungry and thirsty because they couldnât even offer tap water. Itâs real simple guys, can you sell the car for this price? Yes or no? Can you give me this much for my trade? Yes or no? Done deal! But no, they want to run credit despite you telling them not to and writing it on the application and signing it to see with what other bank they submit the deal through and make money. Pathetic operation they run here, waste of time and effort.
If you go here to buy a car be careful. Yea I see many âgoodâ reviews here but guess what. The happiest customers are the ones that the dealership made the most money from (ripped off in other words), been in the business been there done that. Could care less about a response from you guys so donât bother wasting your time...
Read moreDO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! SCAMMERS!!!! If I could I wouldnât give any stars. First off I was told I could get a car with no money down then advise by the salesman that if I gave him $500 (which he pocket the money) that he can get me into any car on the lot with no money down. When I first purchased the vehicle it had a few cracks on the windshield and Deigo told me to call a guy and they will come to me and fix it. I later found out from my insurance company that it counted as a claim against my insurance which is fraud because dealership are not suppose to sale vehicles with cracked windshield and that the window was not my responsibility..I bought a car bmw from this dealership and in less then a month my car wouldnât crank. I called Diego and he had my car towed to the dealership after going threw so much. They told me it was my starter and that they were replacing it with a brandnew starter. Before I left the dealership the owner Diego told me that the part was on the way to the shop and he will call me once it is ready.I received a call back approximately 20 minuets later from Diego saying my car is ready. I though to myself how is it possible that my car is ready when I just left and they havenât even taken my car apart or received the part yet, but I didnât question it because I was just happy to have my car back. I got my car back then a couple months later same issue. I had to pay $120 to have my car towed . I was then told that my starter was never replaced, and that the dealership crossed wires to make my car work for a couple of months which could have cause a fire in my car. The wires are burned by the battery and also thereâs a smell of wires burning coming from under the hood. Not only that the gas tank has a leak which you can visibly see that someone tried to patch it up before and Iâm sure that the dealership knew that prior to selling me the vehicle..I would not ever buy another car from this dealership again and I would would advise anyone to not even pull in their parking lot. I am looking into filing a lawsuit against this dealership because I do have kids and this situation could have been a lot worse if my car would have caught fire while we...
