Donuts4You — Restaurant in Kitty Hawk

We were going to the shop but when we went online we found out they deliver! ( total plus when you have kids that get over stimulated with so many choices) we ordered online not knowing if it would be any good. But thought who cares because it was half the cost of the other places. Here's my entire experience.

App: Super easy to use. Ordered at midnight for next day. Received confirmation as soon as submitted. Ordered updated as soon as location opened. Received a notification when order was on way.

Delivery: Driver got out of car, it was the owner his name was Patrik with the thickest accent said " am I late" my little kids told him he was not. He let us know if there something we have a problem with. Please call him at shop and give him a chance to make it right. The interaction we had with him was amazing! Literally best customer service ever!

Donuts: we ordered a little of everything. Most are cake like donuts. My kids absolutely loved them. The Bavarian cream ones plain taste just like the ones I get in Greece when we went.

My over opinion: many people don't like to try places outside the box. My family is different, we always want outside the box. From beginning to end we had a remarkably experience. My kids loved it so much they are drawing pictures of donuts in the kitchen now! We...

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. 2 HOURS...NO DONUTS AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME. THEY WILL NOT CALL ME BACK OR ANSWER THE PHONE.

UPDATE: WOW BLAME THE CUSTOMER. I have full respect for the business policies. I did not ask for delivery, it was offered. The order was placed at 8;44. I received 1 call that said the couldn't find my address (on the main road). An hour later I called again and was told again that the employee couldn't find the address. I said to forget it and canceled and give me a refund. She stated the owner had to do that and he wouldn't be IN until noon. As the customer am I supposed to figure out if they changed hours and policies?

I am just asking for a refund for a product/service I did not receive. Doesn't seem too...

Such a sweet family-owned donut shop! They went out of their way to make our visit special—offering the kids free donuts to keep them entertained while we waited, chatting with us about our trip, and even sharing family-friendly OBX recommendations. The interactive draw-your-favorite-donut wall, kid-sized viewing bench, and warm service made it clear this shop was built with families in mind. The donuts were fresh, soft, and delicious—and made with healthier ingredients too! Clean space, plenty of outdoor seating, and wonderful people. We only wish we had found this place sooner and not just on our way out—but we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. And I recommend...
