My friend likes beer -- the dark ale-type stuff -- so, visiting OBK, we stopped at Growlers To Go. Closed.
Next day, we tried to order curbside pickup. GtG has no working phone, text, online order capability--nothing. Impossible to contact them...
...unless you call the food place next door and beg them to convey a message.
We did, they did (thanks!) I don't like beer, but my friend ordered me a mini-growler of some concoction she thought I'd like--a peach beer by Ooglefinch. I expected beer with a minor whiff of peach. Ugh.
We finally got our growlers to go. The peach beer was spectacular! My friend loved her beer-lover choices as well.
If you're on the Outer Banks, even if you don't like beer, Growlers To Go is worth a stop. Dozens of beers, ales, mead, hard kombucha, you-name-it, on tap and more in packaged format. If they'd just get a phone or online...
