David's Brawny Burger — Restaurant in Klamath Falls

Walking in, the first thing I hear is cussing from the back of the restaurant. One person who I assume was a customer was discussing something with who I figure to have been the cook, just back and forth, throwing things around. No kids around, so not the end of the world. Another person took my order, a third asked if I needed a fork, then everyone disappeared.

The second person left, the third walked her out, customers came in and no one acknowledged or helped them for a few minutes. Finally a fourth person does after she'd already walked past a few times, just as the third returns. They hadn't started the fries yet for my order, having been 6 or 8 minutes by now, and she wasn't all that happy about it.

The burger was standard fare, nothing I would write home about, bacon was squishy. Fries were good, well salted, but the chili fries may as well have been a can of great value chili with some cheese thrown on top.

When I first moved here this place was great! The past year it has gone downhill. First off, they are usually open until 9pm but now just seem to be closed randomly whenever. Not too upset as I understand covid has caused a staff shortage. They have been turning their phones off when they are open and you cannot call ahead and place an order. The past three times we’ve been there the food has been either cold, burnt, or flavorless. I thought maybe it was just me but the more I talk to people the more I understand it’s happening more consistently. They also have been giving less food then normal. If it keeps up I can’t see them being open for too much longer! Very disappointed as I stated their food was very good before this past year. The staff in their are also not very friendly and it makes for a not so great experience! Would not recommend anymore, save your money and go...

I love the hamburgers and fries here,.... but there is a deceptively unhappy young lady that works the counter. She looks like she's going to be friendly, but she's not and she's not at all helpful. It's as if she would rather be any place but there, which I completely understand. So, why subject us to your attitude problem? If you don't like working there and you can't be friendly and helpful to the customers, try quitting and finding a job you can like and where you can be helpful.

And after reading the other reviews, I wonder if she's the mgr others are talking about. Seems too young to be a mgr. Or if this kid has to work under a bad mgr. then I can understand the attitude, but still, you can quit if you don't like the job. It's just a burger joint, it's not like it's a CEO position at HP.
