This is difficult to only give them 2 stars, because the other location on main is a solid 5 star. That being said I’ve been disappointed when I get home with takeout from the Washburn location a few times. Today I went to this location because I was busy on that end of town. So I order chicken skewers (which come with 6 skewers, not big ones) and spring rolls. Both locations are unrealistic about the amount of sauce they give you, so I always have to order an extra one. So I ordered an extra peanut sauce and plum sauce with a large cucumber salad. What I got was no extra plum sauce, and a huge container of peanut sauce. They charge $5 for it, that’s a lot of peanut sauce for 6 small skewers. That was irritating to get home and not only have your order slightly wrong, but it so something so ridiculous. Why would someone need lg tub of peanut sauce for 1 appetizer. Seems obvious, so then I drove all the way back for the right size salad. And not to continue complaining, but they had put so much sugar in the cucumber salad. I tried to fix it adding some vinegar, but I messed it up more. It was already a stressful day, wish I would’ve either driven further to main st location or gone...
Read moreEvery visit to Thai Orchid is a delight! The service is consistently amazing, making each dining experience memorable. The food is always served hot and fresh, reflecting their commitment to quality. You can truly taste the dedication in every dish, crafted with care.
Customer service is top-notch here. The staff is attentive and ensures that all your needs are met, making you feel valued as a guest. I can't recommend this place enough to everyone in the area. Both locations are fantastic, and the employees go above and beyond to ensure your order is precisely how you want it.
Cleanliness is another strong point for Thai Orchid; everything is well-maintained, which adds to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering the authentic Thai cuisine they offer.
I’ve noticed some negative reviews floating around, but it seems like those reviewers might not fully appreciate the high-quality food that comes at such a great value, especially for our town. Thai Orchid has been a staple in our community for decades, and my family and I will continue to return time and again. It’s a gem that truly deserves...
Read moreI'm sorry to give it such a low rating, but in my opinion, it's the best I can do. My husband and I tried it for the first time this weekend and I can't express how disappointing our experience regarding the food was.. our Pad Thai ( he ordered chicken, I had tofu ) was caked together, like reheated or overcooked noodles, everything was covered in a reddish sauce, somehow sweet..?, that made everything taste blend. The typical Pad Thai taste ( shallots and fresh veggies ) completely missed, instead a hill of sticky noodles, no veggies and barely any egg or sprouts. Little Tofu and Chicken was ok, but again, it all tasted the same..and not like Pad Thai at all! I was really looking forward to find a decent place close by, I guess I have to keep looking.. By the way, the service was excellent! And I would recommend to be seated towards the back, otherwise you feel like in the middle of a cafeteria..we cued in line right next to the diners..unless you like the "real" Thai...
