Subway — Restaurant in Knox

I have a complaint about the Subway at 910 South Heaton Street, Knox Indiana. You have a cashier there who has a poor attitude and needs to be fired.

I asked for a gift card for $15.00. When I did, she told me the cash register didn't make gift cards for $15 and started complaining about the cash register. I told her i wanted a gift card for $20.00. She started the transaction, and i told her i changed my mind, and i wanted a gift card for $5.00 and one for $10.00. She "told her co workers "I want to go home, " and they all started gabbing, saying,"They wanted to go home. " The manager did nothing.

She started the second transaction, and I asked her to wait after the first one until i wrote down the amount of the first gift card, so i did not mix the gift cards up,

She told me, "The machine doesn't wait, and I must make the transaction now," and she and her co workers started gabbing again, saying they wanted "to go home." I told her i was writing the amount of the gift card down, so i would not mix the gift cards up. It would just take a minute. I had to scramble to write the amount down.

Your customers are not there to compensate for the machines at Subways, or for the cashiers, Your customers are there for customer service and to be served. That is what the customers pay for.

If the cashier had not made her comments, she would not have caused herco-workerss to all do the same. While causing a scene with her co workers. I will not be at that Subway again.

Customer service is God awful they all stand very confused... They're supposed to be somewhat fast at it and they mope around. Multiple times I had to ask the girls to either wash their hands change their gloves and when I tell them not to touch spinach or change their gloves because they touched spinach. They act like I just asked them to do something horrible stomp their feet, groan, huff and puff like changing their gloves is just so incredibly hard to do. The owner is completely snobby and he's a jerk, doesn't care about customer service the store just got remodeled so it doesn't look as bad, but before the light update it was so dirty. I wouldn't even eat there thought I'd try it out after the remodel.Thought things would get cleaned up and yet it's still gross they never have their bread done. They never have their hair up or out of there face or one has scratched her head while wearing gloves and went back to touching the food!!!...IT'S just a better idea to go to a different...

I love subways food and typically this store is a very good one fairly quick polite employees and the work environment is clean which I find important in the food industry one thing that I find difficult is that it is hard to count on them right now because of random closings due to Covid even in terms of pick up or take outMy only recommendation would be to not necessarily count on the hours listed on Google I don’t believe they’re updated to reflect the pandemic but other than that I think it’s in a great location next to the gas station right at the corner of 35 and State Road eight so if you’re passing through need some food and they’re open it’s definitely...
