This review is purely about a singular experience and the inability of the restaurant owner Greg Jones. I went through on 2024-11-08 and ordered Chicken Tortilla Soup after explicitly asking the Drive Through during a slow night "Do you still have it?". They said yes and somehow it got rung up as a Chicken noodle soup to which I didn't notice till I got home. I called and of course due to CFAs dumb corporate policies the store can't do anything unless you come there. I'm not wasting 40 additional minutes of my night to drive down there for the right order and maybe a refund, that's insane when I have the receipt and you can clearly refund it over the phone. I was forced to call CFA cares and at first they said "Yeah we will forward you feedback to the restaurant". I had to ask for the correction to my account, ok so I have to wait a few days and a week go by and nothing. I call the store and the manager on duty says he's powerless and confirms he can't do anything and I should file a chargeback because he can't even find a record of me calling CFA cares. What the heck guys?
I call CFA cares and they escalate it and inform me that only the owner "Greg Jones" can even see the feedback from the store and he hasn't responded so they escalate it to him. Well guess what another week goes by and he still DOESN'T respond or look at it. I make a huge fuss with CFA cares and they tell me on a recorded line on their side Greg decides to not refund it and never tell me or even communicate about in any manner what so ever and to leave me hanging. I guess he's hoping I secretly forget and sorry Greg but I don't forget and I'll go out of my way to make sure to not spend money at either or your Powell locations in the future. CFA cares tells me the phone call recording will be shared with him and about 2 days later I get a coupon for 2 free small cups of soup, so clearly now he's acting but 1 it's not what I asked for, 2 to little to late, 3 this required 3 different calls, 4 I already filed a charge back and my credit card company just said it's not worth their time here is your $11 Happy Thanksgiving. Greg clearly doesn't care about his customers and won't even give them the time of day until you make a massive stink, I've emailed him as well and he refuses to respond. He clearly doesn't fit Chick-fil-a franchise model and I expect this to go against his reviews when his...
Read moreA friend and I dined in at Emory Rd FSU in Powell TN. We used the bathroom first - very dirty. It was 5:44, store was virtually empty. We ordered two meals, looked for a table. The only clean table in the ENTIRE store was a 2-top. The floor was filthy. Four team mbrs chatted behind the front counter. Got our meal. The medium fry was brown, cold, and mealy. My friend has worked for CFA for 5 years; she said it was clear that the fries were past the 2 min hold time. Bc the store wasn't busy, no one had bothered to make new fries. I went to the counter and very politely asked "P" for a new fry. I also asked if P wouldn't mind clearing off some of the tables. I was brought a new fry, which was fine. P wiped about 3-4 tables nearby but not the whole restaurant. P returned to visiting with front-counter staff. Before leaving, my friend went to the front counter to ask for a replacement drink top. P was there w the director (black shirt), complaining that she had to replace my fry and that I asked her to wipe off some tables. The director said, "That's ridiculous." My friend was absolutely floored that a team member would complain about a guest at the front counter within earshot of other guests. When P saw her standing there, of course, her tone changed. I called the store to speak to the operator; a diff't director said the operator only allows them to text him from 9-5. Operator has not called me back, not surprising. Looking at this store's other Google reviews demonstrates that this is an ongoing problem that apparently isn't important enough for the operator to address. I'd rather pay as much or more money at nearby restaurants and get better food and certainly better service. This CFA is not a good representation of the CFA brand and should be avoided until the operator takes his...
Read moreI've always loved chikfila and this experience is only with the Emory location. Otherwise I've always been treated well and with kindness. My husband and i dropped our car off at a autoshop down the road just to have it looked at and took an uber to chikfila to eat and stay warm while it was worked on. Well this chikfila evidently wants you to eat and gtfo. We purchased some food and drinks and then about an hour got a shake to split for dessert. We spent maybe one more hour waiting (total of 2 hours but only 1 in between active purchases) before the manager come over and asked what we were doing/ why we were still there. We have our food bag, drink, shake, my galaxy phone, nice large wallet and Stanley cup on the table. Obviously not homeless and Obviously paying customers. Yet we were questioned and interrogated like we were homeless or loitering and it was evident by the managers tone he was coming over to kick us out. I have neve been treated that way in a chikfila and did not realize it was an issue to mind our businesses enjoy our food and hang out for an hour or 2 while our vehicle was worked on. The manager didn't kick us out but he did interrogate us on which shop, where it was located etc. Like sir your a grease manager not the police. I'll likely choose any other chikfila after this. Between my experience and the most recent reviews it seems this location has Terrible...
