If they are busy and you want a sandwich off the menu OTHER THAN exactly as the ingredients are listed on the menu, turn around and walk out! My THIRD TIME IN A ROW, I order the exact same thing, Steak and Cheese, on log white, no mustard, no peppers, no pickle, and cut into THIRDS. AGAIN, cut in half, not thirds, but finally remembered to leave the pickle off this time.

Gave up on Subway two years ago and not been back, this Firehouse is off my list now too, nearly $11 for a sandwich, and they still don’t listen! I’ll just keep going to Five Guys up the hill, they get your order right EVERY TIME!

Too bad Firehouse, I really liked you ingredients much better that any Subway around, but your prep folks leave A LOT TO BE CORRECT, your getting as bad as McDonalds down the street.

Arby’s is also a better service alternative across the street as well!

UPDATE - August 4 LAST chance

Desire, I tried if your reply was sincere and made any difference to your reply. A couple of weeks ago, same sandwich order, cut in half, with soggy pickle against bun, rather than remaking, took pickle off, cut either side of half cut, now had two long segments and three small segments! It was a busy day, but no excuse for that customer service,

So yesterday, August 4, I thought it being later in the evening, not crowded, I’d try once more? Sadly, SAME sandwich order, this time, cut into fourths, and 4 pickles wrapped in the to go order. Not busy, after 6 pm, my order was only one being prepared. I really like the Firehouse sandwich, contribute to your cause of safety donations to responders. As with Subway and McDonalds, you’ve lost my patronage and will look for other food venues that correctly prepare an item...

So I ordered the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich. I called to ask for a refund because it was pitiful looking and not how I ordered it. They said they could refund me, I just need to come into the store with my card and they can do that. The phone call was very pleasant. So I drove back with my sandwich. Showed them what I was talking about and they said this is how it’s supposed to look! Then they said that they cannot offer me a refund because this is what I asked for. The angriest one called the general manager to see if I could be refunded, because this ended up costing me $20. The general manager said absolutely not. That I could have it remade or I could leave. So I did just that.

A note to the general manager, who I know will read this, it’s poor leadership that you put your young and inexperienced workers in such a stressful situation. It’s turned into a bad review online because they aren’t able to make simple decisions like small refunds to maintain clientele. It was three young people dealing with this issue, one who was very heated before I even came back in, who stayed hype the entire time I was telling them what the problem is. Had they not told me to come back for a refund, this wouldn’t have transpired at all. I just wish they would’ve saved me the trip back. I suppose it’s saving me future trips though.

I’ve included pictures. They said this is what it should look like if you order it without the dressing and replace mayonnaise for honey mustard. Mmmmmm,...

Unbelievable, i tried to eat here but no one would help me. I walked in and no one was at the register but there were several employees making sandwiches. I stood there for maybe 7 minutes but no one helped me. Then a lady walks in stands next to me and a worker comes from the back and he waits on her. So she cut ahead of me no big deal. He gives her a togo order and takes her money. I am thinking great, now I can order. The whole time I am looking right at him waiting for him to ask me what I want. Then as soon as he finishes with the lady’s order he doesn’t even acknowledge I’m there and walks right to the back again. He did not say a word to me or look at me the whole time. I’m thinking that is rude, is he going to take my order? I wait a few more minutes, he does not come back out and none of the other employees looked at me or acknowledged I was there. I guess they did not want my business, not sure why. Then I just walked out with no food after having wasted at least 15 minutes for nothing.
