Vastly improve. They brought back the Chocolate TALL Cake. Okay so not as big as before but heck it was still tasty and still a chocolate tall cake. Yes I did eat that first. Very clean, non smoking, plenty of room. Our waitress was a sweet Johnny on your spot person. She got all our orders right. Including a long forgotten dish they once served but do not anymore. I order the chicken parm mac and cheese. So I am not a fan of the macaroni noodle or penny pasta. Yes I love fettuccine noodle. So the manager Justin came out and took my order. He then went back to the open kitchen where I can watch my meal being prepared by you guess manager Justin. He made me a fettuccine noodle with Alfredo sauce cut of chicken Parmesan Marinara sauce on it also. Oh my took me back to yester year Rudy Tuesday. Plus I had the best strawberry puree ice tea with lemon cause the lemon adds the airless to it. My other dishes and my 4 to go dishes were made by Manager Justin. He stay late and so did the our waitress. My food was beyond expectations. It was wonderful. Salad was fresh looking very tasty and inviting with so much new items calling to you as you are being seated. Yes they are practicing social distances and constantly cleanly. Very nice, lightly dim dinning area. You could still see your wonderful meal. Which love to look at. You know what they say, you feast with your eyes first. And it was very filling. I love the open kitchen where you can see your food being prepare. And no oily heavy cooking smell hanging in the air here like in so many other places. Yes something for everyone. Love tater tots appetizer. Bring your family or just a date night out for two, heck even one can enjoy all that Rudy Tuesday has to offer. A place that is so worth a second look at. Prices are very fair, personal touch and friendliness cant be beat. Food is brought to you hot and with a cheery voice from your hardworking waitresses there. And manager Justin willing to go beyond the regular manager duties to see to it that everyone that comes through those Rudy Tuesday's doors are greeted with a welcoming smile and a wonderful meal, plus to add the cherry on top of the Sunday an awesome dinning experience. My personal thought I am excited to tell everyone to go give Rudy Tuesday a try. Valentines day is coming up take your date there. Nothing is more romantic than sharing a...
Read moreDELICIOUS!! One of the best meals I have enjoyed in quite sometime. Ruby Tuesday is my FAVORITE restaurant. I have been a Ruby's fan and customer since the first Ruby Tuesday opened in Knoxville (1972). Unfortunately, now a Florida resident, it is difficult to find an open Ruby Tuesday. Whenever I travel to Knoxville, I make a great effort to visit one of the few remaining Ruby Tuesday locations still in existence. I have visited the Emory Road location several times in the past. My experience at this location has always been very pleasant and positive. My friend and I visited late on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was empty, just a few customers. The food was excellent. In my opinion, Ruby Tuesday is often ignored and not given the credit it deserves by many people. Many people are missing out on delicious food! I ordered my favorite entrée, Hickory Bourbon Pork Chop. It was absolutely perfect! Not only was my pork chop delicious, but it was very large. My entrée was accompanied with two of my favorite sides, loaded baked potato and grilled zucchini. My friend had the grilled barbecue chicken breast, which she was very pleased with. Our server provided excellent, attentive service. The restaurant facility and dining room was immaculate. The men's restroom could have used some attention. My only two negative comments (neither huge issues), the dining room was very cold and I didn't care for the country music playing in the bar area (sorry, I don't care for country music!) I noticed in other areas of the dining room great music from the 80's/90's/current top hits were being played, which is fantastic (and what I prefer). Ruby Tuesday has a diverse menu with many selections available; salads, burgers, chicken, steaks, pasta, and there famous garden bar. If you haven't visited a Ruby Tuesday lately, you need to!! A new menu has just rolled out, many new items have been added. Another suggestion; join the Ruby Tuesday rewards program and So Connected email program to receive coupons and special promotions. On this visit, I used a "bogo" coupon I received; purchase one entrée and get the second entrée for $2!!! Excellent deal! Pleasant dinner, amazing food! Thank you...
Read moreWe decided to give this restaurant another go for dinner on 1-16-25 as we'd heard the management changed in the last year or so. This location consistently delivers terrible food and service. Our server Kayla was sweet, and kept checking in with us, telling us she checked on our food and let us know it's still being worked on. It just barely under an hour to get food for two people. The restaurant had maybe a dozen tables at the time, at least 2 tables left before their food was brought out as it was taking so long. They had 3 servers so it didn't appear to be a low staffing issue.
I ordered the Salmon plate, the salmon was very overcooked and hardened, there were 6 small slices of squash that tasted strongly of chemicals, and the "rice pilaf" was white rice with bell peppers. None of it was appealing. I saw another person ordered the same thing and they agreed with me that the veggies tasted off, rice was gross and they like me left without eating it. My partner ordered the ramen on recommendation of our server, she admitted that what was delivered didn't look like it was made how it's supposed to be made. What was delivered was hard spaghetti noodles that were buttered with chicken and broccoli. Nothing at all like the description. She offered to take the food back, but at that point we'd already been there an hour.
There appears to be no training for the cooks or recipes for them to follow in order to make food according to the restaurant standards/menu nor care for quality or attention at this location which is very disappointing. After we left we sat in our car discussing the meal and talking to someone on the phone for about 20 minutes, almost the entire time we were there there were staff members who weren't servers so I assume kitchen staff coming in and out vaping and talking, there were tables that still hadn't gotten their food when we left so I can only assume the long wait time for food was due to this frequent practice of going outside for a break.
I'm honestly surprised that this location has stayed in business...
