I read all the good reviews, so I wanted to try this place out today. I ordered a turkey wrap, minus tomatoes, that was supposed to come with fries and a pickle. I ended up getting a turkey melt with fries and no pickle. I was a little confused, so I asked my waitress if I got the right order, and she admitted she made a mistake. I told her I would eat it anyway, and she took the price of my Coke off my bill. The sandwich was really good, although I do like my bacon crispy, not limp. The fries and coke were good also. They have tables as well as booths, but it's not real big inside. Also, you might want to use the restroom before you come here, because they only have one restroom, back in the kitchen. I'm guessing it's an employee bathroom that they let customers use. They're also adding a $1 to each order "temporarily", because of food costs. Since the turkey was really good, I plan on going back and trying the wrap next time... hopefully. I'll also try to get updated pictures of the menu, since I believe their prices have changed. Hopefully I'll be able to give them more stars on my next trip. They close at 2pm,...
Read moreCame here with my motherinlaw for breakfast, we missed the little diners in Michigan and hoped this would become a little bit of home. First, the place is a diner no frills delicious and hot. Limited selection but what I've tasted why have more when what yo do is so good. Everything had big flavors, except the eggs, savory, tart, and fresh we were very happy. Second the service wasn't bad it was just our server didn't seem to be very personable, any number of reasons could of been the cause I'm sure it wasn't anything to do with us. Third, the place was small and a little run down, expected being an older place. Finally there was only one cook so I can see how they could get backed up. I did not like that my eggs had no seasonings, but with an older crowd I understand. Also I did not enjoy the coffee it just tasted weak and odd to me. The price was higher than I would like to pay but that's just the economy. I will be coming back, and I hope you...
Read moreI’m giving a 3 stars reluctantly. And here’s why. While we eat here almost every Saturday because the food is phenomenal, the service is awful. They aren’t all that attentive. You have to flag them down. It’s a small dining area, so I feel this shouldn’t be an issue. Smiling seems to be too much for their facial muscles to endure. I feel like I’m being treated as a second class citizen. Drinks are hardly filled. In fact I can go prettt much through my entire meal before they will come back around. We’re usually big tippers. Around 30%. But I’m not inclined to do that here. More like 18%.
However, when I’ve came during the week I’ve had excellent service from another girl who is always smiley nd on top of things. I do recommend coming here for the food alone. Amazing omelettes, potatoes, French toast, and gyro meat.
