Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Knoxville

I am not usually one to leave a review on a place but i felt like it was my place to share my experience with others that are wanting to try Salsarita’s. This was my first time trying Salsarita’s, it is very much like Subway in which the line works which is very convenient if you are in a hurry, but the workers were very slow and it took nearly 20 minutes to get my two burritos. Now aside from the service the food was great…at first..until i started having heat flashes, i was sweating and was rushing to the bathroom. It was a non stop waterfall. I’m not sure if it was from the chicken being undercooked or the bite of ground beef i had from my husbands burrito. Food was great and let me tell the employees were working there tails off yet remained pleasant. 😁My only issue was that I ordered my food online for a 5:45 curbside pick-up. No signs as to where to park so I went in. Waited untill 6:28 for my food. Meanwhile hurds of people came in, went through the line and left with food all within 10 minutes. While I did the right thing, ordered ahead, and then had to wait almost 45 mins for my food. It was Cinco De Mayo so Im sure that had something to do with it. BUT the online system should not be able to take more orders than the restraunt can handle. There at least 10 people waiting in the restraunt for there togo order and not sure how many waiting in the car. Will go back on less busy day but probebly walk in and go through the line rather...

I have enjoyed Salsarita’s every time I have eaten there. I have lived in Oklahoma and Texas most of my adult life and have been missing good fresh TexMex. As a recent Tennessee resident, I have eaten here at least once a week. The food is always fresh and it is always relaxing after a long day. This Salsarita’s in Powell, is THE BEST ONE in the Knoxville area! The staff are always friendly, kind, and professional. The restaurant is always clean. The food is always fresh. My go to is the Taco Salad and these folks let me load it up so I can get my fill and also it stays in my weight watchers points.
