My wife and I love to try new small businesses and we saw Smash and Grab on TikTok and figured we would try it out. We started with onion rings⦠they were delicious! Crispy batter and the onion snapped off when bitten which is a š in my book.
We both ordered the Jesseās function burger with everything. My wife added bacon š„ on hers. She said that the bacon was perfect, not fatty, crispy and great flavor. We both agreed that the burger was very fresh, the patties were cooked perfectly and had crispy edges that we look for in a smash burger. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were very fresh and cold⦠and we canāt even tell you how much we enjoyed the Smash Sauce!
The fries were fresh and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside⦠perfect in our mind.
The price is on point for fresh beef, veggies, and sides. If you want cheap, hit the fast food places and get 1/10 the quality for close for the same price.
If youāre looking for a good smash burger in the Knoxville area, we definitely suggest stopping at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHeard about this place recently and figured I'd give it a fair shot. Tried the mushroom and Swiss burger and it was quite decent, but not the best I've had in this area, especially for the higher than average prices. The fries have some kind of flavor to them, but not enough for me, and they were rather greasy. The smash sauce was really good though, and I would recommend anyone who comes through to give it a shot. Service was fairly quick so no complaints there. I only sat in the main dining area and the atmosphere was rather lacking, but I noticed a large section for children to play in, so it may be a draw...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe burgers weren't bad. I had the BBQ burger and my wife got essentially a jalapeno popper burger. My biggest grip comes to the cost. Our 2 burger without any drinks or anything else was $25. It did come with a side of fries each but to me they weren't anything special. But that aside, they also tack on an extra 3% for using a card (why isn't that built into the price of doing business?), and then when they flip the terminal around it ask you to tip and starts off with the lowest option being like 23% š
Best of luck to the owners but I won't be back the next...
