I rolled through here for lunch today. The drive-thru line was a little daunting. Quite a few cars but this was my last stop back home from a lunch break. That line went fast! By the time I got to the order box, a friendly voice came over and I had questions. I’ve only been to another Freddys twice before. I asked if the patty melt came with sauce and it does not so I asked if I could get a sauce and what were my choices. Mary, very very sweet, Mary, didn’t sound annoyed and was quite helpful. I ordered the patty melt meal with a little thousand island sauce added to my burger, onion rings and a large Diet Pepsi. I asked for a mini sized chocolate custard / concrete with no toppings and she again, very kindly, told me how I could save some money and make it a “dish” of custard instead, that the concretes came with topping. I’m not usually uneducated, especially about desserts, and she was so nice to educate me with a friendly voice and tone. When I got to the payment / distribution window, I asked the lady if she was the one I had ordered with. It was. I thanked her for being so kind. She was efficient, pleasant, and my food was packed well. The patty melt was spot on! Perfect with a little thousand island! The onion rings were hot! Great and quick service here. Mary is a gem and very appreciated! Full 5...
Read moreI was impressed, the food I would compare to a South Philadelphia delicatessen. Their burgers remind me of the Philadelphia cheese steak and oh yes it is greasy. I was there twice. First time to try it out and to bring a guest. My first meal was a burger with fries and a drink. The fries are shoestring fries a little on the crunchy side seasoned with their house seasonings. My burger consisted of a couple of steak patties on a dry, untreated with butter or oil, bun and to me it was great. My second meal consisted of a burger on bread done on the grille. All of the meals are filling, you won't go away hungry. Now for the grease, I didn't have any ill effects because of it. It wasn't the grease I expected to leave you feeling upset or bloated. The place is new and it may take them some time to get things right. My next visit consisted of dessert. I wanted to try their custard. I tried a turtle sundae and my guest had a chocolate nut sundae. My guest had trouble tasting but I enjoyed my sundae. Again comparing custard to ice cream is like comparing apples to oranges. The atmosphere is for around the fifties. Employees take care of the place and what really impressed me was watching an employee cleaning off the stools after...
Read moreWhen this place first opened, it was clean, food was great, service was fast, people were friendly and attentive but now it’s just full of a bunch of employees chatting and screwing around creating super long waits. I come through the drive through and it takes me 30 min to get to the window with two cars in front of me all for one ice cream cone. When I finally get up to the window to pay the employee takes my payment barely looks at me closes the window and continues on chatting with the other employees that are standing around doing nothing. I then wait another 10 minutes for my one ice cream cone! If I was the manager of this store I would be pissed that I’m paying these employees to stand around and do nothing. When we come inside to eat the tables are always dirty and again employees are standing around chatting doing nothing. Was so excited that we got a Freddy’s but disappointed that it went...
