Claro's Italian Markets Inc — Restaurant in La Habra

I called ahead and ordered 3 sandwiches. The person who took my order was nice and helpful. However, I picked up the sandwiches and they were all wrong. I ordered an uncle kief, a custom sandwich and a cousin Kara. I dropped off the cousin Kara to the person who was going to eat it and never heard back, so hope it was accurate. The uncle kief had no roast beef and they added; They put ham in it. It was awful. I hate ham. The custom sandwich had the roast beef and the salami that was supposedto be in the uncle kief. My father can’t eat roast beef or salami or hot pepper cheese.

Two of the sandwiches went in the trash. What a waste. The order was easy.

I ended up buying $92 worth of things. I’m hoping the cookies and other things I bought are good.

So disappointed.

This was my first time trying them again. The last time, I ordered off google, because they offered online ordering. I got yelled at for not calling in my order. Why offer online ordering through your site if you are going to yell at people who use it. But… after messing up our sandwiches I don’t think my family will harass me to try them again. They are mad, too now.

Awful...

Walked in, waited for a while, every employee there was very accommodating and welcoming until “Katie” saw me maskless. I was in the store 5 minutes and people were helping me until “Katie” decided to push her bossy attitude around. Then try and embarrass me in front of the whole store… well unfortunately your employee needs to use her noggin’ a bit. Normally I wouldn’t have minded but after watching the super bowl and just about every other public event where the celebrities and elite are maskless, I used my critical thinking abilities and decided that, masks must not be important if the people telling me they are, aren’t wearing them. So y’all can keep your sandwiches and keep your masks. FREEDOM ISN’T FREE. You’d think these small family owned businesses would be on the right side of freedom. Not today with Katie and her lack of critical thinking. Your employee burned your own money that day. May wanna teach her how the numbers work. Masks don’t pay the bills....

Love Claro's❣️✨️ We tend to love their deli sandwiches & fresh Italian meats. Hubby loves the meatball sandwich...they have a meatball & sausage sandwich we found out about that they have called The Godfather...lol...so that is on his next bucket list item he is savouring for while salivating of the thought. I tend to like the Spicy Mike, Add Prosciutto for a bit extra but totally worth it, & then ghost pepper cheese & douse pepper oil over it with peppers for that awesome picante spicy flavor that makes my taste buds hummm for a few hours❣️✨️ They have desserts, raviolis, various Gelato, & a lovely market to choose what might be perfect for your night or celebration. It's about a 10 min drive for us that is absolutely worthe it. With really warm, helpful, courteous service that's just down to Earth & very much so welcoming...we visit often, & love to share with others as it is a must try to explore & choose which of their various sandwiches is your...
