R Banquet — Attraction in La Habra

I attended a Indian wedding party here recently. The Banquet Hall is very well built. Parking, interiors, layout all good. But I want to point out a couple of things which needs to be taken care of. The lights installed needs regular maintenance as they have moving parts, the up lights needs to be turned on at the beginning of the event NOT AT THE END OF THE EVENT FOR 5 MINUTES, Dance floor is good but only 50% of the small LEDs installed work on it, there was NO spot lights on stage. Food was average and not like it used to be. It was not hot not even warm. By the way I was 15th diner who grabbed the food after they opened the lids. The bar tenders did a good job in serving the drinks BUT they should NOT eat and serve at the same time. They were eating behind the counter and serving all the time. In fact it's all managers fault because he was not noticing that that the supervisor was too friendly with bar tenders and was enjoying snacks with them, the supervisor never checked that people were looking for water and fresh bread and the yogurt. In fact I think to run this place efficiently a new experience manager is needed. So I will request the management to hire a new manager who can maintain this place, create some ground rules for serving staff and also can take a couple of round after food is served and lastly if they changed the cook then bring back the old cook as this kind of food is not going to pull. I am brutally honest sorry if I am annoying somebody. Sorry forgot mention bussing staff was GOOD and restrooms we clean. So 3 out of 5 stars ......... but 5 stars are not far if management pay attention and read this as review...

We had a wedding ceremony at this place. The minute all our guests got in the building, the service manager was rude and yelling not to step on the dance floor because it was wet they just mopped a minute ago, even we had reserved months before doing a party. You should have mopped the floor in the morning instead of the time when party starts. The problem wasn't just that, it continues as party continues. Their service was terrible. We had over 400 people for this event. Every table was over 25 people sitting. They would bring only two pitcher of soda per table. The soda pitcher would finish after 4 or 5 people getting it. When we were asking the service "manager " to bring more drinks, she would say we are running like machines to serve every table to bring drinks. They were taking so long to get the pitchers filled with sodas. Towards the last hour of the event, there were no towel paper in men's bathroom and I didn't have time to tell the service manager about to put some more towels. Our party was until 1:00am the manager told the musicians to cut out the music around 12:30 and leave so they did, by the time people were trying to leave the place the service manager turned off all the lights inside the banquet so people could leave faster. She was trying to rush everyone out of the building. And she would yell at everyone to get in their cars faster and leave the parkinglot. She has 0 percent of customer service how to treat everyone with respect and be nice when you are...

The place is incredibly beautiful Gem serving all communities with cleanliness & Hygiene of utmost priorities (indoor as well as outdoor). Transparent, honest and sincere discussion without any pushy or marketing tactics. As a host to the event at their venue, we were simply at ease and had peace of mind during the time of event. I would like to highlight Eddie's attention, involvement to details for the event to meet client’s expectations.

We are grateful that Eddie ensured the guest's specific diet restrictions were met during the event. Additionally, post-event during the clean-up, the staff informed us of the personal belongings that few guests forgot which were safely communicated and handed over. We truly appreciate the honesty displayed by him and team during such uncertainties!
