Here is my take on this restaurant the remodel was nice compare to the previous. Parking was ok we notice that one of the Handycap parking spots was used by the owner of the place without any Handycap Plate.I needed to leave my wife on front and park on the back. Customer service was excellent from the hostes, waitress and the manager.Drinks were ok nothing special. The appetizers were good.we order the chicharron with guacamole chicharron was chewy guacamole needed something( maybe mixing the cilantro rather of using it as garnish.) Salsas were good chips ok.the queso fundido was good better than other places. my wife's enchiladas zuisas were not good.we explained to the manager what we were tasting and smelling they were very understanding. I order tacos al pastor and tacos al gobernador. Al pastor very different, al gobernador ok rice and beans they need to work on the recipes.the music very nice. Overall we will go back to try other dishes. My opinion if you have a great bar and you advertise as a fine Mexican restaurant maybe on Friday nights different type of music you may get bigger crowds . the concept is there but remember the customers always are going to see the good and bad on any place. More when a customer spends over $ 150.00 on basic...
Read moreI had high expectations after seeing the the photos of the food and restaurant but it quickly went downhill after the 1st appetizer- chile rellanno empanada which was filled mostly with air and barely any cheese, needless to say we sent it back. It should have been a red flag that in a Mexican restaurant when chips n salsa are NOT complimentary it was gonna be an uphill battle. Next, my girlfriend ordered the berry mojhito which was equally disappointing. On to the main course - after chatting with the server she recommended a seafood dish that I saw another table ordered which never made it to the table (she never placed the order) after discussing at length what her preference was. Thankfully, the shrimp dish my girlfriend ordered was not 1/2 bad, as I was extremely hungry up to that point. On top of that the basic fundamentals of good service were not evident - our server was not attentive and seemed pre-occupied with chatting with her co-workers. It was difficult getting her attention. We had to ask another server for a plate to share my girlfriend's shrimp. A little training would certainly go a long way. We won't be back...
Read moreThis place is a scam, the menu writing is super small, is hard to read, that is probably on purpose because it was hard to notice that if you add meat to the nachos it is $10 more, so the regular nachos price is $15 plus the meat, $25 a plate of tortilla chips, with beans ans a speck of meat, seriously this place is deceiving, just price things correctly and make the menu readable. Plus some of the chips were saggy, others were hard like old hard, nasty, very few chips were crisp, I left most of the chips, they said it had chiles toriados, they were not, they were raw as raw can be, they were crispier than the nacho chips. The place is nice but it's like not enough food choice, it's like fast food in a nice place, not appealing, change the chef, change the Manger, business strategy is criminal to the customer, definitely do not recommend, no thank you. The live music on Friday nights is good but after this experience, no, no thank you, for that kind of money I can eat better elsewhere, this place is...
