I ordered a fried chicken sandwich with cheese and jalapenos added, fries and a drink. The person who took my money was not the same person who took my order. The person who took my order brought my food to the window. I asked about my drink. He apologized and said he had forgotten to tell the guy to charge me for it. I said fine and he disappeared into the kitchen. The next I thing I know I hear the 2 yelling at each other. It went on for a good 2-3 minutes. I even yelled through the window "can I just get my drink?" The person who took my order finally returned with my drink, apologized for the yelling and still charged me $2 for it! Just moved to the area and I love this spot super nice owner down to earth & he said he has been in business as long as I have been alive 28 years. Food is hot and fresh made to order open kitchen so you can watch him prepare your order. I also like how he is super helpful with questions or substitutions and the drive-thru is a nice touch. Some would say the interior is dated but I would say it has a charm to it. The Indian non speaking English told me they didn't have the two meat plate, I wanted ribs and brisket. So I ordered hot wings. Figured I'd try Joe's original!
