Tom's Tailgate — Restaurant in La Mirada

Prepare to wait 1 hr + Genuinely terrible service and rude for no reason. "We could care less if you ever come back" attitude. And no this isn't the only time I've experienced this.

Food was not good. Unless you like huge globs of congealed cheese. So. Much. Cheese.

The larger lady who is always working the front is super rude for no reason. Today ,the other girl working told me the food (a plain quesadilla) would take 10 minutes. Literally over 20 minutes later I asked if they had called my food and maybe I had not heard. The larger lady (who literally hasn't been involved at all and presumably doesn't even know what's going on) intervenes and acts as if I was super rude to them for even having the audacity to ask about my food. "That's why we TOLD YOU it would take a LONG TIME to make"... They said ten minutes... For the record it was literally just a chicken quesadilla with nothing on it. They didn't even give me the...

I put special instructions for my order and they got nothing right plus one incorrect order. First I ordered a Full Size Nacho and they did it with French fries. Next I asked for both orders of Full Size Super Fries to have the Fries and guacamole to be put on the side. Only requested this because we were a hour away from home and didn’t want the fries to get soggy from the meat, do you think they did it, “No”! As I waited for my pick up order my daughter and I observed this older gentleman (islander descent) put on food service gloves and started working the food line, a couple minutes in he grabs for his underwear and pulls them up and continues to handle the food. 😳 Bruh, are you kidding me! Once again Tom's Tailgate failed miserably and we experienced yet another MAJOR disappointment when his employee's couldn't complete a simple order. I asked for a half order of nacho's, pretty simple, with rice, lettuce & tomato & all the usual fixings THEN paid EXTRA for but didn't get a drop of guacamole. Also didn't get rice, lettuce or tomato that I asked for. Truly PATHETIC!!!!! We go to the Tailgate to try & support a local business but why??? They can't get a simple order correct!!! I've complained once before about the poor quality of customer service & Tom promised to make it right then never followed through. It's hard to support a business that doesn't care for it's customers. If you want good service and your order correct, don't go to Tom's Tailgate.
