My wife and I ordered the Sideout Cheeseburger through DoorDash, so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere - though based on the food I look forward to dining in with them.

I'd heard good things around town and thought I'd try it, sure enough it lives up to the reputation. The burger was juicy but not dripping onto the plate or making the bun soggy, even though it took 15 minutes to reach me the vegetables were crisp and flavorful. Normally I don't have pickles on my burger but decided to leave them on because, well, that's the burger with the rep, so I'd try it that way. To my surprise they were a great addition. Just as crisp as the other veggies, and the waffle cut made a great addition to the texture. The tang of the pickle complimented the rest.

And it's a seven ounce burger; that's quite a slab of beef, so it was quite filling. The fries it came with were great, yes, but that burger took up so much room in my stomach I couldn't finish them.

Absolutely awesome food, easily top five in the area (likely the #1 burgers) and I look forward to dining in next time and experiencing the rest...

Kind of a quirky place. There is no formal parking just a big gravel parking area. Was crowded so it was very difficult to park. The next thing you notice is all the prices on the menu are blacked out and there is a QR code in a holder on the table that says scan for current prices. Someone came by and said they don't have waitresses after 8:00 p.m. (about when we arrived) but they were glad to help us. They were fairly prompt with the food. I really wanted a salad with chicken but I didn't see it on the menu. So I just ordered the garden salad. They asked did I want chicken? Absolutely! Just what I was looking for! Food was very good. My guess is if you are in town you can make this a regular place if you're into a bar and grill. If you're out of town, as we were, just looking for a quick place to eat, it might be better to at least go for lunch or an early dinner. But it was kind of interesting so we still give...

Service was great. Food came up really quick. Almost to quick.. we ordered mushrooms and fried pickles as an appetizer. So much grease on the bottom of the tray. If the cook would of just shaken some of it off before emptying his basket into tray. My lady ordered a salad. Her veggies looked fresh cut and crisp. My French onion soup, was way to salty and cooked to long as if they just kept adding to it day after day. Way to much greasy bread and not enough cheese. Order a bacon blue cheese burger. It was fair. Not sure if the bun was toasted or not I honestly don't think it was. The temps on the cheese sauce for dipping was way to hot. All in all nice lil spot bathroom was clean and smelled clean. Just feel the kitchen could use a lil more training and passion. Unique menu Im not bashing the place. Exact opposite. With just a lil more passion, This place...

Great place to eat, drink and relax with a bar and grill vibe so a much more layed back crowd and open to family dining as well as Bar rail with TVs for sports! 4 or so different beers on tap as well as great liquor Selection too! In the summer they host beach vollyball games outback and a whole lot of picnic tables with bonfire pits! They even have live bands throughout the summer! For a smaller Bar and Grill In Laporte it's doing some big things! So far my Favorite go to snack there is the Pizza Fries, but the outside cheesesteak Sandwhich is Soooo good and gotta get the side of beer cheese for your fries!! The best I swear it's so good! If you got time to kill for lunch or want to grab a bite with friends, any reason is a good reason to sample the menu here! Food is by far the best Bar food in town and kitchen is usuaully open fairly late too which is a huge plus!

$6 for FOUR boneless wings to come out looking like this? They don’t have prices on menus and they don’t hand out itemized receipts with said prices on them. I’ve dined in and gotten to-go with no receipt. It’s a struggling small town business I’m trying to support but I also like lunch at lunchtime and if I’m paying for pricey food I expect it to be good and wings to be well sauced. They don’t open before 3 which is challenging bc I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to come here around 11-12 for lunch. They are struggling but I think I understand why. Love all the plants around the place, that was a plus. Would love to give the owner tips for care on some of their plants.
