My kids LOVE the playground equipment, the skate park, and the walking trails, HOWEVER, some parts of the trails are overgrown to the point where there's grass all the way across what used to be the sidewalk, there was quite a bit of trash strewn about on the ground (even though there's plenty of trash cans because, obviously, people are lazy dixks), and there was no available, open restrooms, so we had to go home to go to the bathroom! But, all-in-all, my family and I have tons of fun at this park...there's plenty of benches and picnic tables for seating, plenty of room for playing, riding bikes, and walking! I'm pretty sure they have at least 1 baseball field back in the woods as well! Oh, and a basketball court, but I've never checked it out really because it looks pretty run-down. You don't need to pay for parking and it's a fun way to spend the afternoon with your family. LaPorte offers evening concerts on scheduled dates in the summer too. It really is a great community!!
