I hate to be this type of person. I have had great experiences coming into this bakery, the food, service, pastries are fantastic. This recent time I came to the bakery…just stopped by to get some bolios for dinner and was met with this young lady at the front cashier who already seemed like she didn’t want to be there. As I come up front to pay for my bread, without hesitation her first words was my total price for my bread. It caught me by surprise because I didn’t know she was talking to me, she didn’t even look me in the eyes to tell me my price. Then I tried to pay in debit, as I have my card out she looks at me and points at a sign that says “all purchases below $5 have to be paid in cash” like if I was too stupid to comprehend words. Even after i still looked lost she still didn’t try to explain. I wasn’t a human being to her and she completely embarrassed me. I felt humiliated because I didn’t understand the sign right away. Don’t get me wrong. Bread is good. But what doesn’t sit with me is that I get charged for a box. And every time it’s a different price. I don’t confront them about it because I don’t want to start an argument and refuse my service. I get a lot of bread because I have a big family. First time I went, the offered the box and wasn’t charged for it. Second time I went, I was charged $1 for the box. And today a lady got a box in front of me so I paid attention to register and she WASNT CHARGED FOR A BOX! And she had less bread than me. So then my turn I asked for a box. She said okay and packed my bread. And then after she charged me $1.50! For the box. I asked if this was the price for the box and she said yes. If I get charged a different amount next time I will probably say...

Good little local bakery and pizzeria in the area. Best to go in the morning when everything is fresh, not a huge selection but the basic Mexican sweet breads. The pizza is pretty good and deserts. A little pricey compared to most bakeries. They do have fresh bolillos with cream cheese, bolillos with cheese and beans, bolillos with cheese jalapeño and chorizo. This is normally what I come to get and occasionally the concha’s. A little pricey compared to other bakeries. Tres leches cake is good. Need to try other things but I’m a creature of habit.
