Mama's Pizza — Restaurant in La Vista

We went to dinner here with some friends. My friend Purchased a pineapple alcoholic beverage that was horrible. She passed it to me to take a drink. I agreed and made a horrible face. We purchased a picture of beer and a watermelon. Margarita instead. Not everyone at the table had their IDs with them so the ones that did not had to leave. The three of us that were left there to finish the picture beer and the drink that we had just purchased after 20 minutes, the manager stomped over to my table, and asked me to leave before we were finished. When asked why she said you were harassing us. We never left our seat. We never talked to any of the employees. Except for the one who stopped by the table and picked up our dishes. We asked him when the owner would be there. Jeff was coming and we were hoping to speak with him in person. The manager then called the police and without checking the surveillance cameras or coming over to speak with us Jeff asked for a band and bar. Not only was his manager unprofessional and not customer service friendly. But in addition, she was aggressive and he did not handle the situation well either. It’s not like we needed abandon bar we likely would not have gone back anyways after she approached my table when I had not even left my seat Needless to say, the owner did not speak with us, they didn’t refund our money for the beverages that they did not allow us to stay and drink. I don’t think this is someplace that can advertise they are family, friendly ever!

Our family had an mixed adult, and kids birthday party of 11. We made the reservation online. It was nice to go and the table prepared. It was really hot, but the owner addressed our concern immediately and cooled it down. They have a wall menu behind the counter, or you can scan a QR code at the entrance and review the menu at your table. Then, write it all down and go to order. We ordered several appetizers, pizzas, spaghetti with meatballs, lasagna, wings, and salads. Every item was hot, fresh, and delicious. Really good crust. They bring the food out, but be prepared to have help to carry drinks, water pitchers, and beer back by yourself. Just bring some of your party to assist in taking them back to the table. They do not offer pitchers for drinks except water. You go up to get refills on each soda. There is a great set up to get plates, napkins, silverware, and condiments. It's very clean and organized. Well stocked. It is very kid friendly as they have a gameroom, and the atmosphere is very nice for all ages. The prices were very reasonable. Everyone was happy and had a great time. They did all the dishes. Kept the table freed up...

On 8/27/22 @ 1:21pm my 83 year old father went inside to pay for 2 carry out pizzas with cash. The total was $48.01. He gave them a $50 bill to cover the cost but had asked if they could just round off the amount to $48 so he wouldn’t have to walk around with .99 in change. The lady working the register said she couldn’t do that and the man I believe managing that day then said he couldn’t round it to $48 either because “that’s just the way it is” he said. Well I own a business and I could care less about having to eat a penny when a customer is paying cash. Especially with the fact that we were nearly spending $50 on just 2 pizzas which is absurd in actuality. So after my father wasn’t able to round off the amount, he proceeded to go back out to his car to get the one penny and as he did he tripped and fell up against his car bruising his body. Alllll for just a measly penny that no one would say is ok not to worry about. We used to love this place and have spent hundreds of dollars up till this incident.
