Cafe Dejavu — Restaurant in Laconia

I’m not one to normally leave negative reviews but unfortunately this one deserves it. To start, the portion size was sub par to say the least. Ordering biscuits and gravy should actually mean “biscuits” as in plural. To come home and open up my food to find one singular biscuit was super disappointing. The home fries that they go with are three bites worth of fries so definitely order more if you feel the need to eat here. I called to get more biscuits and when I arrived I was charged 2.50 for one more biscuit which was absolutely unreal to believe but whatever. If portion size isn’t the issue then the taste should be talked about. Seriously one of the worst and most bland meals of my life. It had almost zero taste to anything I got. Just avoid this place....

About 2-3 years ago I went here. The food was great, prices where great, service was also great.... Went here today. The food was nothing special. The service was ok at best. My girlfriend was basically asked why she got coffee because she didn't down it in ten seconds.. and price wise was much more then anything else local. I hate to say it but I feel like McDonald's would have given me the same kinda food for cheaper. But when it comes to speed this place takes the cake. I'm not sure how my food was done in like 2 minutes... Since toast usually takes longer then that. But...

One of my favorite breakfast places in Laconia. Coffee is always hot and flavorful and the meat lover's omelet (my favorite) is chock full of meat and cooked perfectly. They are always busy (a testament to the quality of this place), so expect a little bit of a wait. It's worth it. The servers are always very busy, but they're also very attentive, efficient, and nice. ONLY issue I have here is that parking could be improved upon a lot. Regardless, if you want an excellent meal with servers that care about giving you good service, then don't...
