This store has been in business for years in our small city of laconia, which speaks volumes in itself! The owner/store manager is savvy with the typically sought after items in the area and in that type of business, and their many years of store managing experience shows. however, sometimes I feel that they could use more updating as far as what is in demand/trending at the moment, especially childrens popular themes/characters. It is a great party store, but they play it safe as far as buying trendy items and I feel they would do better if they listened to their customers/potential customers suggestions and requests, and perhaps studied/kept up with the current market trends a little more, It’s sometimes hard when you don’t have kids to be able to know exactly what they are looking for and what is sought after. I believe that A hard-working, reliable, trend savvy, millennial mother would be a fine addition to this store and could truly keep it alive for many years to come! My best advice for the owner, and please don’t take this the wrong way, is that to keep this store alive, you must keep up with the latest trends and that may include perhaps online type ordering, special ordering or promotions, perhaps offering delivery or something of that sort; you must find the niche that will keep you competitive with the inevitable growth of the internet ordering and shipping business, as it has affected this market greatly. This place is extremely overpriced and the staff is usually not very amiable. However, they have a great variety and they have things others don't. So... You don't really have a choice if you want to shop local. Friendly tip, buy the things you can get anywhere, regular latex balloons, weights for balloons, table cloths, napkins, plates, silverware, etc at other locations, such as the dollar store first, then perhaps Walmart, then hobby lobby. The go to this store for your fancy mylar balloons and any extras. Also, note that the mylar a don't always stay blown up for very long from here in my experience. Don't forget that a themed party doesn't have to necessarily be perfect, mixing and matching similar colors and themes can be just as classy and fun, and...

Love the customer service with Holly!! I called for balloon deliveries for separately themed parties, and she took her valuable time to speak with me about options. The large balloons were all perfectly color coordinated, festive, and fun! If you've ever tried delivering more than 20 balloons before, it isn't easy! (I've sadly lost many ) The balloons totally made the atmosphere festive and more fun! I can't thank Holly enough for making the parties easier and stress free for me.
