Hannaford — Local services in Gilford

Tried the To-Go option as I received a $15 OFF $50 or more coupon in the mail. I was impressed with the experience as a whole. The only hiccup was that my transaction receipt which was emailed to me immediately after placing the order showed that because it was my first time utilizing the service the typical service fee of $5 would be waived but when I arrived and gave the gentleman $15 off coupon + $40 cash. I expected him to come out with my groceries and the $1 in change but instead he came back out and told me I still owed $7... I showed him the emailed receipt which clearly showed the total cost (after $15 coupon applied + $5 service fee waived) =$39 he gave a random excuse about why the total actually equaled $46.00 which after meticulously inspecting my physical receipt still doesn't make sense but wasn't worth an argument or waiting any longer then I already had by that point. Over all it was convenient and I would still use the To-Go...

Im not one to ever go out of my way to write a review. But went in late tonight cause I realized my baby was all out if formula and had been home with both of us sick all day. Well im new to using wic and didnt realize my new month starts on the 11th. So i got 8 formulas and it only covered 3. So already embarrassed asked for it to be taken off cause i didnt realize and i am apologizing left and right. Now the baggers one with dark hair and another blonde. I think she was a manager were super nice and helpful. The cashier. Some tall guy wish i got his name started getting extremely rude and short with me. I get it. The process was a pain and it wasnt a simple check out and I felt awful about it already but to make someone already feel worse and when i said thank you once it was done and sorry to roll ur eyes and not even reply is just so rude and thought u guys should know. General store manager is horrible and disrespectful, his name is Joel something! I go there almost everyday to buy lunch and have never had an issue until today. Me and a friend went to buy lunch and decided to try out the hot wing bar they have, well upon cashing out I had the store manager Joel run up and start screaming at me. He was so red in the face and screaming so much I legit couldn’t understand half of what he was saying. Something about making sure I weigh my food, which I did and even did a second time to make sure the price was correct. I have heard horrible things about him from other people and wasnt sure what to believe until today. I hope no one else has to deal with what I delt with! Super embarrassing and so...
