La Papa Feliz Cameron St — Restaurant in Lafayette

Was given Chips and ranch? Don't like ranch but I see Chips and salsa on the menu and was told they don't have salsa... seriously you don't have Salsa? Its even on the menu.. Waitress would disappear and table next to me had a bottle of Verde sauce I'm guessing without the lid on pour out all over the table. The person sitting people kept ignoring them. This was some of the most unprofessional customer service I've experienced. My food was dry would have been nice to have Salsa for a Taco. It's a shame because it has potential because some of the flavor was there but this place is seriously lacking. Food was good but service was awful. We got there before a little before 7 pm. The restaurant only had a few occupied tables. Not at all crowded. At least 4 people were working the floor. They brought chips and drinks. We were waiting on a few others to join us. They got there about 7:10 and it was about 15 min before the server came back to the table. After their drinks came another 15 min later, we sat there 10-15 more minutes. I got up to go ask for the server to come take our order. A different person took our order. By this time it was 8 pm. I remember when the papa loca just started off with a small little taco truck! Man it was so great everything you’ve gotten from that taco truck was AWESOME! Then it was definitely 5 stars!

Now since they’ve moved into this bigger restaurant place it’s like they’ve forgotten where they came from. The service takes forever! You order food at 7pm they tell you to be here in 25min and end up waiting 45 min outside there restaurant with other cars waiting. An for nothing I get home and my food is cooked half way not knowing I take a bite and I end up tasting rotten meat! They’ve forgotten how they started with the best taco truck in town and now it’s like the quality of the food...
