LeBouef's Restaurant — Restaurant in Lafayette

Another Sunday and another BBQ plate lunch to highlight. This week is LeBouef's Restaurant. They serve plate lunches all week long, but my favorite is the Sunday BBQ. This is one of the cheaper Sunday BBQ spots at around $12 a plate. You get a bang for your buck because one plate can make two meals. Some of my favorite things are the BBQ Chicken, the Rice Dressing, and the Coleslaw, which is big for me cause I am not a fan of many people's coleslaw.

We came in for a Sunday lunch. The line was to the front door at 11. That's about 35 people. The line does move fast. You can take it to go or eat at their tables. These patrons are ALL local. My first trip to LeBouef’s and it was a very disappointing one. I paid $39 for two lunches which did not include a drink. The food was only average and there were five people working, but only one serving food. I thought the wait was too long to order food.
