beautiful, clean, and quiet area. Went on a tour last week and Heather told us to apply and then pay the deposit fee for us to take it off the market. She reassured us and made it seem that the apartment was ours already. I even told her about my credit and how it wasn’t the best. Well, me and my spouse hurried and applied and paid deposit. She called us and told us everything looked great the next day and we just needed to pay out our lease break at my current complex which we were just about to do that next day. Almost done with the process as she is just waiting for us to pay my current complex , she calls to tell us she denied me and to take my income tax money to pay my debts off and then come back in July. Very strange and rude to say. First of all, credit scores don't go up that quick when u pay off some debts. Second, you don’t tell someone that..very unprofessional. Why would you wait at the end of the process to deny me when you said everything looked great a day before and was just waiting on a payment for my current complex. We had everything set and almost done. Something does not seem right about Heather and I tried asking her why she did this so late and got our hopes up about this apartment but then denied me after assuring me that it was ours. Heather played us and three days later of still asking questions, she ghosted me. Don’t get someone’s hopes up for two days then all of a sudden ghost them because you were waiting on a payment that was just about to be paid that day.
I do want to give Heather a shout out though for declining me unexpectedly! We are moved in our new apartment and it’s honestly more comfortable than The Arts apartment...
Read moreCustomer Service is Horrible for starters. Don't be fooled by their move in specials. I was told my first month was free. So instead of taking that offer they allowed me to use that credit towards each month to have a cheaper bill....Well that only lasted a few months...After I paid my rent 6 months in a received a phone call telling me my rent was short. I asked how because that's what I been paying since I moved in. I was told that my $250 credit ran out and that I owed for utilities. This caught me by suprise since I payed utilities separate with LUS. Well come to find out utilities got charged to my account after 60 days (no one told me) and the credit for my first month was used towards that....it's a bit confusing because my rent is way higher than $250 so my free credit should have been more than $250. So now I have to pay the original rent amount plus added utilities...one of the workers even had the nerve to have an attitude with me for not understanding where this utility bill came from, why was my credit only $250, or why my rent was no longer discounted. I'll be glad when my lease is up...I will no longer recommend this...
Read moreMy husband and I leased an apartment here from March 2021 to Nov 2021 while we were in the process of building our home. We had a great experience and we would recommend. They were more than happy to let us view their available apartments before we signed anything. Our apartment was clean and updated with granite countertops. We leased a two-bedroom and it was very spacious. The grounds and the pool were well maintained, kept clean at all times and the pool is beautifully lit up at night. The office staff and maintenance staff were very professional, friendly, responsive and helpful any time we needed anything. There is a courtesy officer on site and the complex felt safe and quiet. Lots of friendly residents live there, some are obviously long-term residents. This apartment complex is extremely pet-friendly with a small dog park. After we almost leased an apartment at another complex where we received awful service before we even signed the lease, we were very glad to have found The Arts at Broussard Crossing. We felt at home there and they made the whole process a...
