Stumbled upon this place thanks to TikTok no less. We decided this would be a fun place to try for a date night.

I saw it was recommended we have a reservation, so I made sure we had one before going. We reserved a table indoors, but there’s an option for bar seating, patio, or the porch. It’s a quaint, cozy restaurant.

Our waitress, Sophie, was so kind and attentive. We ordered the black eyed pea hummus as an appetizer, the flatiron steak & eggplant parm lasagna for our entrees, and pot de crème for dessert. The black eyed pea hummus comes on a toast to share and was a great intro of flavorful food to come. The flatiron steak was undoubtedly one of the best I have ever had (ordered medium rare). My girlfriend raved about the flavor packed in the eggplant parm lasagna. The pot de crème was a nice finishing touch to our meal.

The owner/chef, Peter, came over to our table and chatted with us as we were finishing up. We enjoyed getting to talk with him and thanked him for the wonderful experience. He was even kind enough to gift us with a jar of his very own garlic chili crisp he makes (featured in the eggplant parm lasagna).

We will absolutely be returning to Park Bistro for future dates. It’s such a welcomed “hidden gem”...

Have to say Park Bistro exceeded expectations. We came here for a last minute date night but still called ahead for reservations since we knew space was limited (high recommend calling a day ahead). They managed to work us into a bar spot but our seats weren’t ready when we got there. The staff were so friendly and gave us a temporary spot to sit while we got drinks and waited for our reserved spot!

Food is absolutely delicious and so were the drinks. We had the Brussel sprouts, shishito peppers and shrimp to start and then we had the salmon and potato gnocchi as the entrees! 10/10 everything cooked to perfection and the flavors were spot on. The caramel dessert also really hit the spot. The staff refill water promptly, replace your small plates and dinnerware before the main course but still give you plenty of space. The owner and head chef was mingling with everyone and talked to us for quite a while. He seems like a wonderful person and he is a very talented chef. I hope this business continues to thrive and we will be back next time we are in town. Highly recommend to anyone looking to try something new. Upscale dining with reasonable pricing and without the pretentiousness, with a...

it's not- bad. The flat-iron steak was cooked absolutely perfectly. The service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant was clean and cozy. But the details started to get lost with its price point.

The black eyed peas hummus was tasty, but some of the beans were undercooked and left you cracking a tooth.

The flat-iron steak couldn't have been a more perfect Medium Rare when I ordered it and my huge praise to the chef for its preparation, absolutely melting and savory - but it was too salty. And when the menu says it comes with Green Beans, I did expect more than just 5 of them. Same with the mushroom garnish.

They are so close. So so close to being exceptional. But falls just short. Certainly not bad whatsoever, but just needs to push itself.

Edit: Gave it another shot and had the Hamburger. It was very very good and the service was even better than last time. 6 Stars for service...

I had a delicious meal here tonight. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The crispy shrimp were a very good, spicy and crispy as described. The flat iron steak was perfect. Served with delicious crispy potato and fried kale. Will definitely go back to try other menu items. My second visit was just a nice as my first with the added bonus of having Clair wait on our table. She is also a manager of the restaurant. The restaurant owners definitely picked the right person with her, friendly, informative and a wonderful server. Great job Clair!

Was just recently in Lafayette on business and found this place on the web. Definitely need to make a reservation as it was booked our first night. The dishes we ordered were very good and especially the “corn ribs” appetizer. Very unique and good. Pork chops were ample and juicy. Only complaint was the chicken Kyiv was a little overcooked making it difficult to cut. Once the knife did go through butter squirted on my shirt and pants so be careful!! Mandy was a great server and will be back and try other dishes
