I ordered a pizza around lunch time and the wait time that it gave was from about 12:30-12:45. I wasn't expecting it to be ready at 12:30 because I had just placed the order, however as soon as I got in my car to pick it up it said it was ready. It was a large 1 topping (pepperoni) pizza and I added two extra toppings so I didn't think much of it. When I got there at 12:30 the pizza was not actually ready and there was only one person inside working. I'm assuming they marked it as ready so their time wouldn't go up while I was waiting. I would not have had an issue with this if the pizza was made properly. My Pepperoni pizza had one peperoni on per slice (if that) and was just sprinkled with the other two toppings. If anything it looked more like a cheese pizza with added toppings. Furthermore, the pepperonis did not taste like they were fully cooked. They were still quite flimsy on the outer parts and had the texture of lunch meat. This leads me to believe that the pizza was rushed because there was only one person doing all the orders when I walked in and they looked pretty stressed. Another thing that was off-putting was watching that employee handle all the pizzas with their bare hands. I understand that sometimes hands can be more sanitary than gloves, but they were touching their phone and other items in between making the pizzas. I don't really blame the person working because they had no help during what seemed to be a lunchtime rush, but this all resulted in a pretty disappointing experience on my part. If we are provided with the correct address and phone number so our drivers can reach you when there is a problem we will do our level best to get your orders to you quickly and safely. Unfortunately some of our customers have no problem trading their integrity for a free pizza and in order to stay in business we have to follow certain protocol when it comes to refunding or replacing an order. We absolutely do not want our customers to have to settle for poor quality of our products or service so PLEASE call me or one of our other managers if you ever have a problem and we will diligently find a solution. We really appreciate your business. Update-5/31/22 Guys, we use a call center to handle the majority of our order taking (by pressing 3 when given option) because of covid related issues and also to keep cost down for both us and you. For instance, in order to pay several people $10-$15 an hour to only answer phones, the cost of a pizza would nearly double. Please be patient with them but know that they do this for a living and are as focused on your satisfaction as we are. In todays world we find ourselves dealing with language barriers and strong accents more and more, but we do encourage everyone to use the app or order online because that's where the savings really are anyway as the prices are different depending on what method you choose to place your order. When I called to complain he instantly cut me off and said my order was on the way. My order had already arrived and I was already disappointed and he wanted to answer my question with hearing me out. Stated that he was going to send the delivery guy back to pick up the pizza to process my refund and never did. Once I called corporate they gave me the correct information about the store. Worst customer service experience ever. Accused me of wanting free food, if I spent 45.00 on pizza and papadila. I only complained about the pizza, was informed they don’t do partial refunds. David became very argumentative with me and as the GM this is unacceptable. I called corporate to find out he didn’t submit the refund. I told him if I came up there we were going to have problems, he asked was I threatening him. I told him no that’s a fact if I come up there it’s going to be a problem because this is unacceptable.
