Panda House （seafood & Chinese food） — Restaurant in Lafayette

I ordered two combo plates through GrubHub. 1 Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mein and 2. Dragon & Phoenix (General Tso’s & Shrimp in Garlic Sauce). The Bourbon Chicken was dry and tough and the Shrimp Lo Mein was ok. The General Tao’s Chicken was cut in huge pieces but very tender and moist. The shrimp in garlic sauce had tender vegetables.

There were very little distinct flavors in any of the dishes; the food was hot and edible (The Bourbon Chicken, just barely). The portions were good size. Will I order from them again? Amazing experience! I wish I would have taken a picture of our meal but forgot . We ordered when we arrived for dine in & our food was so hot when it arrived at our table we had to let it cool to eat it . I got the orange chicken & Lo mien / egg roll & my husband got the bourbon chicken & Lo mien / egg roll. The egg roll was fresh and crispy . Next time I will try the sweet and sour chicken . Definitely recommend! I’ve heard to order ahead if you want your food right away . Being new in Lafayette I was totally surprise the first time I tried Panda House. I was thinking it was a small fast food place with mediocre food at best. I was totally wrong. The food is fresh and cook to order, not something that sit around for hours like other places. I'm well please with the food, service and price.
