Trying out all the food trucks in Lago Vista food park and Pick Thai was the second one on the list. Tried the Tom Ka soup, Pad Thai, and Massa red curry. Per three stars rating food was ok, but not great. They made a mistake on our order but nothing major. Tom ka was our least favorite of the three being a little on the salty side and chicken overcooked and a little rubbery. Pad thai was pretty good. The curry was more on the sweet side for our taste and again chicken was overcooked. Tasted like they add a little cinnamon to the sauce which was a little different but ok. Thai food is probably my all-time favorite food. I love the variety and flavors. I had low expectations for this foodcart being in a small town. However, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased at the variety and the quality. They offered all my traditional favorites, and everything tasted wonderful. The other day I decided to give this place a try for the first time.
