We ate here today after leaving Great Wolfe Lodge. This is a gem of a place!!! The waitresses and entire staff were so hospitable, lovely, and knowledgeable!!! It was excellent customer service. Carly was our main waitress and another waitress would come and check on us as well! We had a group of six (4 children and 2 adults). The customer service from the staff really exceeded our expectations! Carly brought something for my one year old to draw on to occupy her time. Another young man brought a high chair and since it was an older model, he took the time to show my husband how to open and close it. Another waitress made sure to come by and check on us even though we weren’t her customers and she conversed with us as well. The food was amazing!!! I had their Summer salad with a radish salad dressing and IT! DID! NOT! DISAPPOINT!!! Actually I was upset when I became confronted with the last two bites of it. Once my crew sunk their teeth into the first bite, all I could hear were other people talking as there was silence at our table! All of my family were satisfied with portions, taste, and it came out hot, which is always a personal issue with my husband at most other restaurants. They had to fix food for five individuals and I have no clue how they got it to all come out hot at the same time! It came in a timely manner and our drinks were kept filled as well! This place is awesome and I recommend it without any reservation. If we lived in LaGrange, I would probably just give up cooking but I would also have to invest in...

Fortunately I didn’t have to make use of there waiting room because I was there when they opened. 2 guests after me filled the dinning room & then the waiting area quickly filled too. This place would best be described as above average pricing & good food with a roadside dinner casual atmosphere. As long as you order one of their sandwich options with fries you can keep it around $20/meal. Anything more substantial than a sandwich & it’s $40+/meal. Staff is kind and they support each other to make sure everyone is attended to and is willing to adjust the meals to accommodate customer allergies. Serving sizes are appropriate, generous without being too much food. No alcohol is served but guests are welcome to bring their own. I would eat here again but it will be infrequent at best considering the wait times & prices.
I have attempted to visit 4 times now. There always seems to be a 30+ minute wait to be seated. There is no place to wait except stand in the parking area or stand against a wall beaming over other diners shoulders actively watching them eat. If I had that kind of patience to wait while watching others eat for that long to simply be seated, I’d just cook at home. Maybe one day I’ll perfect my timing and actually get to try their food. It does look and smell...
