McDonald's — Restaurant in Laguna Niguel

Trash overflowing, no napkins, the soda area is trashed, the employees are non verbal (no words spoken, no please or thank you), the order was wrong, pre-teens treating the place like it's their bedroom, and they skimped big time on the fries. This place is consistently bad. I live right around the corner and have been here maybe five times and each time it sucks. No more and never again.

9/26/2024 update: I succumbed to laziness, hunger, and temptation, compromised my own principles, and came back. Mistake. Ordered my food through the app and got a notification it was ready before I went in. But it wasn't, I had to wait around about five more minutes (I was the only person in the lobby while I waited). The dining room once again looks like a bomb went off inside it... Napkins and straw wrappers all over the floor and two tables had trash all over them... It's like the kitchen is a completely separate entity from the rest of the building as it seems like no employee ever makes it over to this side of the house. The dining room area is as lawless as it is dirty, with randos coming in to use the bathroom and/or fill up their big jugs and then leaving. I guess word is out that this place offers free fountain drinks. This would explain why when I went to fill up my drink with Sprite nothing came out -- nothing. The local middle school thugs have made this a meeting spot as well and use this location as a public place to hang out and hold court (they come in through the side door and don't order any food). I feel like a person could keel over in one of the booths and it'd be a week before a McDonald's employee accidentally wandered into the dining room and discovered the corpse. This isn't to say that the employees don't interact with the customers, the person designated as the cashier, between taking orders, was hanging out with his girlfriend in the booth to the left of the front door. So if you're a preteen and are romantically linked with one of the kids who works there, you'll be acknowledged by staff. On to the food. The bottom bun on my Big Mac was completely and totally stale, obvious to the touch. Whoever put this burger together just didn't care because this bun was hard as a rock. I also had a spicy McChicken -- although I didn't ask for eight times the normal amount of mayo, that's what I got. I had to squeeze about six pounds of mayo out of the sandwich and wipe it off on the wrapper. Here's the thing: I LOVE McDonald's, but THIS particular location has got to be the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. No one cares in there, which tells me the franchisee probably doesn't either. These people are all being paid a minimum of $20 an hour so I find it inexcusable that the quality and cleanliness of this place is so horrible, there's no excuse. I can safely say that I will never return to this location and will get my McDonald's...

I live 30 seconds away so I have been here many times. The first few times coming here everything was correct, hot, and tasty. Maybe i was just lucky. It seems everytime i come now the fries arent hot, and the burger seems to be the only thing i get there that i enjoy. I went tonight to cheat on my diet and specifiacally asked if the employee could make sure the fries were hot, because the last few times i was pretty bummed. He replyed that it wouldnt be a problem, but appartently it was. fries werent hot again and chicken nuggets definintly had been sitting for awhile... and he didnt even ask about sauce for nuggets (i didnt even think about it until i got home). You guys are making it extremely easy to not have these cheat days. I gave you 2 stars because I'm not even eating most of the food and my diet thanks you. PLEASE, i just want tasty fries!! I dont even care...

This is a hit or miss location. It is right across the street so it is close for a quick stop. Sometimes everything is cold and that really stinks. I also get a special order and they like to mess it up. I also hate cold fries. The order window was broken for a while. Made it difficult to see. The staff is always nice, nothing out of the ordinary. This location is a place for those teen e bike riders so be carful. I just wish the food was hot when ordering and if you order something and pay for it it should be right. I like extra cheese on my sandwich and I always get charged but never get the cheese. When I mention it they just say sorry and do it again. Very frustrating. prices have gone way up so I don't go as often. There is plenty of parking and a seating...
