My husband and I were so very excited to try this place. We went today and were the only people in there. The waitress (Clara) came by said hi took our drink and appetizer order. Another table came in two dads and their sons she was also their waitress. We got our appetizer we had to ask for drink refills waited and waited for them to take our order another waitress asked if we were done with the menu we said no we still haven’t gotten to order our food but she still took our menus my husband had to go get them back. Still another ten minutes still hasn’t come to take our order but has went to the other table multiple times. Finally order and when I say our food was disappointing I mean it was really awful . The lo mein had a horrible aftertaste like a wet dog smells and my general chicken had hardly and taste but the rice that came with it was excellent . I wanted to love this place because they had such a hard time opening and they seem so nice they deserve to have their business work out for them. Just an fyi there were 3 waitresses and they couldn’t wait to get behind the counter to dig on their phones and didn’t want to be disturbed. So it wasn’t that they were busy just two tables. It wasn’t until we were almost done two more tables came in. Like I said I wish them all the best but we will...
Read moreReally enjoyed our time here! We knew they just opened and might have some hiccups and were mentally prepared but there was no need for that at all! We walked in and there was a wait due to there only being one server at 2pm on a Thursday which is completely understandable as it’s a slow time at any restaurant during the week. The hostess kept us updated on when we would be sat and offered different options in case we didn’t want to wait. When we were seated we were immediately greeted by our server Lacy who profusely apologized about our wait time. She was very kind and attentive and her bubbly personality kept us is high spirits. We enjoyed the egg drop and hot&sour soups. Although I do prefer Peking garden’s H&S, this one was still very good. My husband loved his egg drop soup! If he could have licked the bowl he would have 😂. The manager brought us some complimentary egg rolls for our wait and they were delicious. We ordered the combination lo mein and beef and broccoli and the lo mein was the star of the show! The aroma had us drooling and the flavor is on point. They have a large selection of Asian foods to choose from whether it’s Chinese dishes to Vietnamese pho to Japanese hibachi dishes and sushi. Can’t wait to go back and try...
Read moreToday, we decided to try the newest restaurant in the area, Budatan. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. We were greeted as soon as we entered the door. We requested a booth however the hostess said there wasn't a clean booth available (there were two open booths that could have been cleaned). We were seated at a table which sufficed for a quick lunch. We watched servers walk pass the table without as much as a visual acknowledgement. We watched the manager / owner go to a booth near us to clear up some apparent confusion about their order. We watched a couple of young ladies walk in and be seated. After almost 15 minutes, no one came to our table to offer any type of service. The young women who walked in after us had recieved drinks on the table and were placing their order yet we were just there with absolutely no assistance. Apparently our waitress was "not informed " that we were at the table even though she walked passed our table to serve another table around us while we were seated. Maybe things will improve with time so I can review more than the service...
