Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Lake Charles

Tonight, my mother, my 1 and half year old nephew, my 10 year old niece, and myself stopped at this Popeyes for a 12 piece tender meal. We got home and we had the wrong order so I had to drive back up there to get that issue resolved. No big deal, things happen. I wasn't even the closest to being upset about that. Unfortunately I get home and we all dig in. We're sitting in the living room watching a movie in a pretty dark room so I wasn't looking at what I was eating. I took the first bite and everything was fine. The second bite however, something was very wrong with. Turns out my piece, my niece and my nephews chicken were all raw. I'm really hoping none of us get sick. The manager went out of her way to say sorry and ask that we drive all the way back up there for a 3rd time for her to take the same chicken and put it back in the frier, that was the extent of her conflict resolution. I declined that offer and got off the phone. My mom, completely unsatisfied, had to then call back for a 4th time tonight to try to get to some kind of resolution and the manager settled reluctantly on letting us get our next identical order comped, thankfully. Popeyes is usually on point, just a really bad experience tonight and praying our bellies don't pay...

We went through the drive- thru and ordered four spicy thighs, Cajun rice, and a biscuit with a large sweet tea. We received three thighs, Cajun rice and a large sweet tea. I pulled around and went inside with the order and receipt. They were all very nice about, didn't argue that we were wrong, and gave a whole new order. After about ten minutes I went back up to check on the status of the order and was informed that they had given our order away. I had to wait an additional five minutes to get another order, but with an additional thigh. They gave us a free raspberry pie and tried to give us a gallon of tea, but I did not accept.

I noticed how clean and nice the inside diner was. The service was very fast, even on the new order with the exception of the last. We will be returning here, but only due to it proximity to...

EDIT! If i could give zero stars, I would. I gave them a second chance/ it took over 35 minutes for the drive through, they left out two items, and i got FOOD POISONING from a spicy blackened sandwich. Do not go here unless you want to spend two days in absolute misery.

Terrible experience with rude, immature staff and excessive wait times especially considering the order was put in ahead of time on the app. I have been told different things about ordering in the app by different workers on different days. Would be one star but the food was decent. Probably won’t...
