Crawfish Boil-N-Go — Restaurant in Lake Charles

Crawfish size are large but most people don't realize that the larger ones are more tough to peel. They definitely cooked them properly though. No soak time which is a big thumbs down for my preference & why they add the seasoning on top is beyond me. Leave that stuff to soak! Nothing special about the seasoning as it's the plain Louisiana brand you can easily by yourself even out of state. Corn & potato done perfectly. No idea what type of sausage they serve but I trashed it after tasting it. The boiled shrimp were cooked perfectly & tasted great. Not happy with the price per lb though. Can easily buy 2 lbs for that price &...

My favorite place to get crawfish. You can tell that they season the water and not just the top of the crawfish 😩😂. I love that it’s not overwhelming spicy or over salty, you can suck the head w/o getting a burst of salt juice that will immediately raise your blood pressure. The crawfish are cooked well so they are easy to peel. And they are purged before cooking so you do get grass or the occasional “muddy crawfish” in your batch. Oh my, oh my! Very tasty, huge portions. Crayfish, shrimp, potatoes, corn on the cob, all delicious!! Fresh and perfectly seasoned and prepared. I enjoyed the outdoor tables. They really made it delightful, as each table has a hole in the middle of the table to throw the shells! Plenty of napkins and even an outdoor wash station to clean my hands and face.
