Unfortunately this Popeye's has a few failings found at very few Popeye's, which I would attest to having enjoyed their food for over a decade now.
1.) Mobile Order or Not, expect to wait in line. Did you place an order to go to skip the line and save time? Well, this Popeye's feels you didn't, and workers will stare at and ignore you for the 'audacity' of expecting them to take a moment and verify what you need, or why. You will simply be ignored.
2.) Did you Order Door Dash? See above, they expect yes, even non-customers to wait in line, a 'thrill' I learned from a dasher when I asked why it took so very long, with them explaining the store even 'began the order when he finally got through their 8 person line to ask for the order'. It would seem Popeye's at C.Club road doesn't believe anyone should have options beyond their extreme lines.
3.) Rude workers -- This should come as no surprise with what is above, but when it becomes apparent that they're already ignoring both already paying customers and contracted delivery drivers, the extent it can go to is just unfortunate.
4.) They will forget your flavor packets/dips. Atop being forced to wait upon arrival as a mobile customer, this becomes pretty heinous considering its an added misfortune.
+.) The food is sincerely good, but the poor handling of the system it should be using in 2020 and beyond, is quite insufferable and hopefully in time they can...
Read moreI recently decided to satisfy my craving for some Southern comfort food and headed over to Popeyes Chicken, using their app for a seamless and accurate experience. While my experience had its highs, it unfortunately left me with a few lows as well. Let me break it down for you. Firstly, I must commend Popeyes for their user-friendly app. Navigating through the menu was a breeze, and I appreciated the convenience it offered. To my pleasant surprise, my order was spot-on accurate, with everything I requested neatly packed and ready upon arrival.
The service at Popeyes was another highlight. The cashier greeted me with a warm smile and exuded positivity, which set a welcoming tone for my visit. It's always refreshing to encounter staff who genuinely seem to enjoy their job and are eager to make your experience enjoyable.
The Negatives: However, the main attraction—the food—unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. The moment I bit into the chicken, I noticed it was undercooked. This was quite disappointing, as I had been eagerly anticipating that signature crispy, golden exterior with juicy, flavorful meat inside. Instead, the chicken lacked that fresh, satisfying taste Popeyes is known for, leaving me underwhelmed. I hope this was just a rare off day for the kitchen, as I know Popeyes is capable of delivering delicious meals. Until next time, I'll remain hopeful for a more consistent...
Read moreY’all…come see! I don’t really like leaving bad reviews. I’d rather find something positive to highlight. But come listen at this. I was probably the 4th car in line waiting to order. The car in front of me finally reaches the order screen & waits…& waits….so finally he says “hello”…someone comes on the speaker & says “you don’t have to say hello”. He said excuse me? She repeated “you don’t have to say hello. What would you like to order?” Where has the customer service skills gone? As he was pulling off after placing his order, her mic was still on & she proceeded to tell someone in the background “I told him he don’t have to say hello”. Let me just tell you, the customer was a GOOD MAN. I listened to see if he would address it at the window & he said NOTHING. When I pulled up to the order screen I asked for a specific spicy sandwich & asked what came on it. The person taking the order says to me “when you tell me if you want a spicy or mild sandwich I will tell you what comes on it!” I repeated “I SAID SPICY”! Her attitude softened up. When it comes to customer service, I’m definitely going to play a game of follow the leader, especially when spending my money that contributes to their paycheck. Good customer service can go a long way. Also those are the fries that came with the sandwich. I’m only 5’ tall so my palms are pretty small. Do better Popeyes on Country Club-...
