Daiquiris & Dogs — Restaurant in Lake Charles

The hot dog cart used to be inside the casino and available 24 hours, great for a late night/early morning snack. Now it’s been moved into a separate “restaurant” area serving Daquiries as well. Hot dogs are the same. What I’m writing about is the attitude of our cashier Aleigha L. Maybe she had a toothache and that’s why she had her hand up to her mouth the entire transaction. That would explain the grunts and one word answers. “do you have grated cheese?” We asked thinking maybe they’d kicked things up a notch from the liquid plastic cheese normally offered.. Eye roll, heavy sigh and ‘no”. “Ok then could I get a bag of Fritos? You’d of thought we asked her to turn a cartwheel. Eyes widened, then narrowed and we were explained that those are saved for Frito Pies. “But you sell Fritos, right?” An exasperated repeat “yes but they’re for the Frito pies, we can’t sell them separately”. Well, actually you can you just won’t! Ridiculously unpleasant and maddening interaction with an employee who clearly would rather be doing something else than working there. EXTREMLEY RUDE & DISGUSTING worker!! Visited this past weekend - food was good. The cashier was nice but the girl that was serving the food (girl with long braids) was extremely rude and gross. Never said your welcome to anyone and had an attitude like she hates her job. She was cussing with the other employees about her boyfriend, having sex, being pregnant in the past, and how she was hoping her ex boyfriend gets raped. Not sure if one of the workers was the manager but she also didn’t care she was speaking like this. Very shocking to hear someone discuss all these things out loud a couple feet away from us as we sat on the stools with other guests nearby. Her coworkers seemed either very uncomfortable as she was telling them stories or just didn’t care she was speaking this way. I tried to call the casino several times but it kept taking me back in a phone tree loop.

She should be fired immediately! I would never take anyone around that kind of person...

First off, save your money on the food, it was terrible. Secondly the entire drink menu is designed to deceive you, if not, then the manager on that night and the employee are liars. I've posted the picture of what I ordered, the turtle cheesecake signature loaded drink. It clearly states that it comes with everything that's pictured in the advertisement on the TV pictured in my review. I mean it has to be, on a "signature LOADED" drink right?... Wrong. Supposedly all that stuff only comes with it ONLY if you pay the extra for candy, that was already supposed to come on this drink. Not with the money, the lies or the sub par food and service. Go across to Asia and get something better...
