So, I recently had the pleasure (or should I say displeasure) of trying out the bone-in ribeye at Ember Steak House, and let me tell you, it was an absolute disaster. I mean, seriously, it was the worst $70.00 ribeye I've ever had in my life. The flavor was non-existent, like they forgot to season it altogether. There was absolutely no char or bark on the steak, which is a crime for any self-respecting steakhouse. And to top it all off, it was undercooked for medium rare. I don't know what kind of kitchen they're running, but it took forever for that sorry excuse for a steak to reach my table.
Now, let's talk about the service. I went there with a group of friends on a Wednesday night, hoping for a memorable dining experience. Well, let me tell you, the service matched the disappointing food. Our water glasses were constantly empty, and despite being a table of seven, there was no effort to pre-bus our old dishes. It's like they were trying to create an obstacle course on our table. To add insult to injury, the appetizers we ordered, the fried green tomatoes, and the bacon-wrapped shrimp, were a complete letdown. They tasted more like something you'd find in a gilded coral reef rather than a high-priced steakhouse in a casino.
At one point, we were so fed up with the lack of attention from the waitstaff that we had to take matters into our own hands and get up to refill our drinks. When the waiter finally sauntered back to our table, all he did was laugh and tell us we should have grabbed the glass water pitcher instead of the metal one. Are you kidding me? That's the level of professionalism we can expect here?
To make matters worse, when the bill finally arrived, it was over $800. Let me tell you, for that kind of money, I could have had a much better dining experience at Saltgrass Steakhouse for half the cost. And that's saying something.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Ember Steak House at LeBurge Casino to anyone who appreciates good food and decent service. Save your hard-earned money and head elsewhere for a satisfying steakhouse experience. Trust me, you'll...
Read moreEmber Grille proves that it isn't just a steakhouse; it's a shrine to the culinary arts. The restaurant's commitment to offering top-notch quality in all aspects - be it the food, service, or ambiance - is laudable, making it one of the finest dining destinations for any discerning steak aficionado. The star players of our visit were undoubtedly the Japanese Wagyu and the Filet Mignon. Both choices were beyond reproach - cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor. The Japanese Wagyu melts in your mouth, revealing a sophisticated blend of savory notes, while the Filet Mignon is a masterclass in succulence. It is clear that Ember Grille takes the art of grilling seriously, and the results are incredible. But the culinary prowess of Ember Grille doesn't stop at steaks. The bread rolls served at the start are an absolute delight, a perfect appetizer to whet the appetite. Pair that with their excellent French press coffee, and you've got a meal that's truly satisfying from start to finish. Beyond the food, Ember Grille excels in service and ambiance. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and eager to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. Meanwhile, the ambiance is refined yet comfortable, creating an environment that allows you to relax and fully enjoy your meal. This is not just a restaurant I would recommend, but one I would urge any steak lover to experience. Here's a well-deserved five stars to Ember Grille, for setting the bar high and then surpassing it...
Read moreFirst and foremost, I must say the service was EXCELLENT. Our waiter Travis was very attentive and tried to rectify the steak issue we encountered.
This was our 2nd visit to Ember. Our first visit was awesome which led to our returning visit. Our 2nd visit was ok and a bit disappointing. After further consideration, I’m starting to feel a little cheated.
I mention cheated because, according to our waiter the steak we ordered did not have a bone. We ordered the $75 Dry Aged Ribeye, no mention of bone on the menu and the waiter confirmed it as well.
When the steak was served it had the bone and was undercooked. My partner requested medium and the steak was medium rare. The steak was returned and when returned was still medium rare. At this point we were hesitant to return the steak again.
In retrospect, the only ribeye steak with the bone in was the $65 ribeye which makes me believe we were served the incorrect steak and at this price point the steak should have been cooked as requested. If not the first time, but after it was returned.
Our bill was around $180?. I don’t mind paying for excellent food and service. But, this was worth half the price paid. Not sue if we’ll return...
