McDonald's — Restaurant in Lake Forest

Used the McDonald’s mobile app to order some fries. The app experience is 5 stars, very well done and I’ve had great experiences at at other McD’s locations with both drive thru and curbside order pickup.

Selected curbside pickup today at this location, checked in and waited. And waited. Then waited some more. Was on a phone call, so I didn’t realize 15 minutes had passed since checking in curbside with no sign of my order of fries. How hard is it to prepare a simple order of fries, right?

Finally went into the restaurant, where I waited some more. Listened as another customer complained to the manager about how terrible and slow the service was today. Nearly my turn at the counter, and I spot an employee heading to the door with my order. I asked if it was for curbside pickup spot #4 and sure enough, it was mine.

Checked my watch and found it had been over 20 minutes since checking in curbside. For an order of fries!? I think this takes the record for worst “fast” food experience ever. Bravo McDonald’s at Trabuco & Bake....

So when I went to this McDonald's I was able to add lettuce and bacon to a regular cheeseburger. Not that that's the end all be all but I think it's pretty neat and it's not something I've ever tried before. What I like most about it is that it didn't take that long to even make. The amount of time it took for them to get out these custom cheeseburgers that I ordered, was the same amount of time as if I had ordered just a regular cheeseburger off the menu, not to mention that the server was extremely nice and had a really kind disposition. This McDonald's trip felt different than other McDonald's trips that I go on: every every staff member felt well supported, the restaurant was clean, the lobby was pleasant to be in, the order kiosks where efficient and fast-moving and clean, and there was enough tea powder and water in the unsweetened and sweet tea machines so I was able to get a cup of unsweetened iced tea to go with my order and not have it taste like the bottom of a...

This is probably one of the worst McDonald's ive ever been too. There is always something wrong with my order. The staff always seem to have a terrible attitude. The food also seems to never be the same quality of the other restaurants near by. I forgot tonight why i avoid this place and drove to it since it is 10 mins closer to my house than the next McDonalds. I ordered a big mac combo. You know what i got? 2 chicken sandwiches. Maybe i could of checked the screen to confirm but it was broken. The girl over the speaker seemed rushed to get me away from the mic and didn't verbally confirm the order. I dont know where the rush was while waiting for the food, it took about 20 minute to have 4 cars go thru the line. Avoid this place...
