Original Tommy's — Restaurant in Lake Forest

This is the first time ever eating at a Tommy's and I think I won't ever again. When I arrived, part of my order was somehow already cooked and ready with the exception of one burger? How is it that one burger is done and one is just being started. The cashier looked like he's on half of a brain cell, touching his face and his mobile phone with no gloves. The other guy slightly out of sight appears to be doing the only work. He hands my burger to Mr. no-gloves. I get back to my motel and the hotdog is all the way on the bottom getting smashed by the weight of the food. My hotdog was inedible. Completely smashed and cold to the touch. One burger barely had any warmth and when I compared the fresher burger to the other, I can see they pawned me off a regular double cheeseburger instead of the 1/4 pound double cheeseburger I really ordered. So your employees are in the habit of doing bait-and-switch schemes. So out of my entire $44 meal, the only thing that was edible was the one burger and my drink. Serious waste of my money in the days of heavy inflation. Why should I order from a restaurant that can't respect my giving of business to this establishment. They can't even respect's a person's food...

First time going here and was not at all a good experience. Car in front of us got an order, checked it and wrong order so it takes more then a few minutes and two different people at the drive through window to figure out his order and refund the over paid portion of his bill. Waiting for his food, finally gets it and leaves. We pull up and are asked to pay less then we were told at the speaker.... politely told the girl our order was 11.31 and she takes the money and hands us a sack that was not our order....give it back and she is so confused and can't figure out where our order is. Reads us another order, not ours ....finally we just said give us the first sack of food (cheaper then our order) and keep the money. Of course I didn't get the burger I ordered and the one I got was cold. Cold chilli is not good. All in all, we were in the drive thru for almost 25 to 30 minutes. Dont know if it was a one off but I will not be back. Usually don't give bad reviews and I know things happen but waiting in line as long as I did and this happening to not one of us but two....hope the people after us got their...

I love Tommy's and I love one close by, but over three times they screw up on my order and stiff me, last time I was short two fries. Then again they almost short me a small chili but they even short me again on fries after i asked for my chili, which they said I had, no I had my chili on the side not my order of small chili. Gets confusing since thousand island is wrapped and looks exactly like one of their fires. I spend about $40 for three people! And still get screwed on my order. And even if no one is in line it takes over 15 min!!!! I have had food made at a restaurant quicker, "no joke!" Dont know why but all the worker act like ex cons hating their life even though they are 16 to 19 years old. Just make sure you do the math and check for all your food!!! Dont mistake thousand island for fries or if you get your chili...
