Winnies Watering Hole — Restaurant in Lake Jackson

Whinnies watering hole has been around for decades it is a nice quiet very friendly atmosphere. The patrons there all know each other and are very welcoming to anybody entering the establishment . Lee who manages whinnies is usually there to greet you always with a smile. On Sundays Lee usually cooks something great for the customers in appreciation. Winnies has several 📺 to watch sports. Small dive bar with a good atmosphere and decent bottled beer. FYI, they only have bud light and dos equis beer. Smoking is allowed. My coworker described this place as a local institution that gets pretty crazy at night. According to him, "about a year ago the owner died and because it was too close to a school and originally grandfathered in they had to act fast or Winnies was going to close forever."
