Came around 4:50 on cinco de Mayo, the store had been open for 5 days and it seemed like the entire town of lake Stevens came flooding both in the drive thru and inside with mobile orders, at one point the line outside was to Starbucks front doors and there was little standing space inside the restaurant, it was that busy. I waited about an hour for 3 bowls and chips that were ordered for the drive thru but I went inside hoping it would be faster which It honestly was not.despite the fact that many including me waited about an hour and some even chose to cancel the orders, the overwhelmed staff did a great job considering the circumstances of very little training due to the newness of the restaurant, a holiday bringing a flood in, and a dinner time rush and as someone who has worked food service dinner rushes are the worst. They handled it all very well, trying their best to get food out as fast as they could, giving customer service in a multitude of ways, and trying to work past the confusion that both the customers and staff were feeling, they also did well considering the pressure of the situation and having people standing there staring at them. at one point they did try to focus on those who had been there longest first, at this point that was me, and so an employee tried to have my order rushed while also working on more current orders on the drive thru end. In the end I got my food, my order was correct, it was hot and delicious! 1 less star because it did take awhile and there was confusion happening but I would definitely come again. I would recommend it to others as well, just would suggest waiting a bit till its been open longer for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve come here quite a few times over the last month or so and I usually come after work around 4:30-5 and my wait usually isnāt bad at all cause there isnāt a lot of people around that time. The employees have always loaded my bowl amazingly when I ask for extra. The place I havenāt noticed any uncleanliness and I havenāt been through where theyāve been out of something other than this week all chipotle locations were out of lids so it isnāt there fault. Meats look good sometimes and sometimes there too well done and Iāll order different protein based off that. The lemonades arenāt usually full when Iām there Iāve noticed a couple times. One of the you get ladies of color was a bit out of it working e register one time. I had asked for chips to one lady then the cash register lady didnāt hear and so we rang it up second time no big deal but then after ringing it up she stepped back and started staring off into the distance and I stood there still waiting for my chips then I said something and we laughed and she grabbed em. Usually Iāve always been happy with this place despite other chipotleās Iāve gone too and left reviews. I just love how they give you a lot when you ask. However I ordered on the app one time and like expected it was awful. Didnāt even do extra let alone put the normal amount. I could see the bottom of the bowl in places. I only had like 5 little pieces of steak. I typically get extra rice and no beans and youād think theyād compel the missing scoop of beans for rice but no itās was just comical how much was in the bowl. So I wonāt ever ever ever do it again. And I donāt mean the teenagers working the register or the children getting you your food . I mean management . Management is absolute trash . My child worked there for 4 whole shifts . Including today. He was standing at the register for 30 seconds doing nothing until there was a customer and the ābig bossā made a comment to his manager about āwhy is he doing nothingā FOR 30 SECONDS. I get that itās āfast foodā but 30 seconds of breathing and doing his job which is ringing up a customer , is not grounds for anything , let alone such a stupid comment . But then he made a mistake and didnāt charge a customer for double steak because he didnāt see it on the label , and BAM heās sent home with his manager telling him he should know better cause heās not that new . IT WAS HIS FOURTH SHIFT . They scheduled his shifts so far out thereās no way heād be a seasoned enough employee to āknow betterā . Moral of the story , The unprofessionalism is absolutely abhorrent . And if corporate sees this , maybe train your employees that 30 seconds isnāt long enough for reprimand , and sending employees home early for a mistake on their 4th shift , is not...
