I worked for this particular dominos for a few months, during that time I witnessed and had to deal with a very disgusting rat problem, as I consistently took videos and pictures sending them to the district manager begging him to do something about it, it continued with no effort from upper management other than a few flimsy traps for two months. There was rat poop and pee everywhere, in buckets, on the floor, behind the product make-line, they were breaking into bags of food and walking through the kitchen and lobby. I was subjected to cleaning everything, when the health department came out, we simply pushed the rat traps further behind things and prayed they would not notice. When rats would get caught in the traps wether dead or alive they sat there for sometimes as long as two days. As of my last day of employment with this company the last day of March, there are still rats that roam the store and die in the walls. To add to that, there is now a terrible ant infestation underneath the Coke cooler. This is only the beginning of the nightmares at this particular location and many others in the surrounding area, when food is expired instead of being thrown away, the expiration sticker is simply replaced with a further out date. The chicken, the mushrooms, the sauce, everything, there was a week were two week past date chicken was being used. Because management relies so heavily on their bonuses via food cost, they don't throw things away and often used expired product. Another thing that is concerning is the lack of hand washing that happens, I remember a specific night when I was on ovens through a very busy time and a lady at the counter asked to speak with me, explaining that she watched the employees handle money and then work with the food without washing their hands, I gathered everyone together including the district manager and told them it was unacceptable and embarrassing, his response was "hey I make mistakes too" not, "I'm sorry, you're right, that's horrifyingly gross" I've witnessed people drop food on the ground and not even think twice before putting it in the box, and sending it out to the customer, and in my two years of employment at dominos I have never once seen even one day where sanitation procedures were followed. Nasty company, values money for more than sanitation. Do yourself a favor and go across the street...
Read moreI don’t usually post reviews but this has really bothered me. Here is my experience today. A little back story first: We ordered a pizza delivery a couple months ago and they mixed up our order with someone else’s but gave us $20 credit that could only be used over the phone or at the store so for dinner for the kids tonight we decided to finally use that $20 credit towards a pizza. Today: I was in Arlington on my way home to Lake Stevens and at the time GPS said 23 minutes. Called and made an order over the phone and was told 15 minutes. Awesome! Got to the store and told the person at the counter I was there to pick up my phone order. He goes to look at the orders line comes back over to the counter and goes it will be 10-15 minutes. I’m immediately annoyed. I tell him “Oh 15 minutes more? Because 25 minutes ago you told me 15 minutes. So you’re tell me it’s going to be another 15 minutes?” All he could say was “Oh..uh.. yeah..” so I said ok, feeling bad I snapped a little and go to sit in my car to wait. 15 minutes passes and I go back inside and it’s ready, getting boxed and then handed to me at the counter. At this point I don’t trust it and I open the box immediately to see there’s no pepperoni. So I point that out and of course they look at the order receipt and say they’re going to make another pizza, but it’s going to be another 10 minutes. I paid and waited the next 10 minutes inside so I could leave as soon as it was done. Once it was done one of the guys looks at me and says “Did you pay for it?” I say “I paid, yes,” so then he proceeds to raise his voice and ask, “Does anyone know how to make sure someone has paid?” And I’m like WTF? This person has been here the whole time, knows they messed up and was making another pizza and has to make sure that I paid? After watching others come in and pick up their orders but not confirming if they paid or not just going off their word but has to make sure I did? I’m reaching in my pocket for the receipt & The other kid he asks goes “Her? Yeah, she paid.” I’m so mad. At the counter, I take the pizza and look him in the eyes & say “thank you for NOT believing me,” and walk out.
I will now be going out of my way to go to any other Domino’s pizza. Management and customer service is absolutely lacking at...
Read moreI ordered a pizza for delivery on my daughters birthday (proof on her birth certificate). I ordered said pizza at 5:24. The gentleman on the phone was very kind and helpful, he offered to look for a coupon that would make my deal better bringing my price down by about 4 dollars. He told me it would be between 18-28 minutes until delivery. That would have put our order right where we needed it in time for cake. At about 6:08 I began to get concerned about our pizza. I called them at 6:18 to check on it, and they told me that they didn't have my order at all for the day. I checked on my online banking and saw the pending purchase as well as a credit of the same amount. Confused, I questioned the man on the phone (John?). He said that he was only a delivery driver and that he doesn't usually answer calls. He attempted to ask his manager, Brian, who told "John" that he didn't need his help. "John" attempted to resolve the issue, apologized, and began to re-order my prior order. I was okay until they said that it would be ANOTHER 45 minutes before we'd receive our order. I decided that it would be way too late by then and asked to cancel the order. "John" asked Brian for help canceling the order and we ended our call abruptly. I feel that "John" did his best with a sour situation, however, I have worked for franchises before and don't feel that this situation was handled correctly. Having misplaced the order, and rather than calling back and resolving the issue I was simply refunded unknowingly, then asked to repay and wait another 45 minutes...not my idea of a good birthday dinner or good business decision. I am highly disappointed that I was not only refunded, but top priority for delivery. I have worked in food service for 12 years. I think I have a firm grasp on how things work. I feel that Brian should have stepped up as a "manager" and made all this happen. Won't be going...
